Care, compassion, understanding, reassurance and the list can go on. I came in for my 5 year old son who woke up from a horrible ear ache at 12:00am. Rushed him to the ER. Matter of 20 mins my son and I were out of there. He prescribed him antibiotics and even sent it to a 24 hour pharmacy for a quick pick-up. This is hands down the greatest hospital. I had both my boys here and truly this was an even greater experience. It just goes to show you that the organization and its staff continue to work effectively and efficient to build the trust with patients who seek medical needs. Thank you Dr. Chavez!! Dr Chavez was really kind to me when I came to the ER with a kidney stone. He was able to provide relief through IV, prescribed necessary medication, and referred me to a urologist who got me in for an appt quickly. He also called the next day to check in on me. Would highly recommend! The hospital’s ER wait time is crazy but once you see him he’ll take care of you.

This Doctor is fully incompetent. If he is assigned to you in emergency, do yourself a favour and request to see a different doctor. After paying my 200 co-pay and clearly having strep throat, the Doctor refused to prescribe antibiotics. I went home where it deteriorated even worst. I went to critical care where they immediately diagnosed me and due to leaving it so long (Dr Chavez Incompetence) they needed to give me a steroid shot in my throat from the swelling. Do not see him!
