Won’t treat women TTC but won’t say until end
If I could give this doctor a 0 stars I would. I told the Dr San Juan within minutes of meeting her that I was on a TTC journey. She went through the whole intake eval but at the end told me she doesn’t treat women TTC, pregnant, breast feeding, or post partum. She waited til the end of her “billing time” to tell me this info. She then argued with me for 10 minutes about the ethics of psychiatric meds in pregnancy. Horrible. They still charged me a copay even though I went for medication management. She tried to convince me that other psychiatrists do the same with pregnant patients, which isn’t true because my last doctor said my meds were safe, however that doctor retired. Waste of time and a copay.

Terrible
Does not care about your needs and treats patients like ATM machines. Not at all empathetic, and honestly not all that intelligent. Doesn’t seem to know much about her field or medications and attempts to make you diagnose yourself, and then choose your own medication based on no information because she doesn’t seem to know anything. Also becomes irritable when you ask too many technical questions continues to say “that’s not my job” or “we don’t do that here” for basic questions. Also very dismissive and argumentative. It’s honestly very curious how this mental health gene would continue to employ a person with her demeanor, and clear lack of empathy.

Waste of time
Totally uninterested in my issues. Basically offered no suggestions other than giving me a list of other providers. Left after 15 minutes of a one hour appointment

Initial Visit - TERRIBLE
Very inefficient office. They spent an hour doing intake on phone, had us repeat the intake at the office. An hour later after additional anxiety caused by re-filling ALL the forms with symptoms, Dr. San Juan came out to only tell me that she doesn't do elderly patients with these symptoms. Now I am waiting on refund on the co-pay. They forgot to give me back my insurance and ID, which I had to remind them and collect. VERY DISORGANIZED office and not great Dr. WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND. Caused more anxiety - instead of helping treat it! I spent 3 hours in total only to be told they do not treat elderly - which was my first question before I provided any information
