Dr. Waldman Donna Haywood Office Visits
I started seeing Dr. Rachel Waldman for the onset of Arthritis in my hands. She is very knowledgeable. She takes her time and is very patient. She is a very good listener. She always brings up something related to my last visit to see what changes have occurred. The office staff is awesome. I have never had to wait more than a minute for my appointment. I have never had a bad visit there and would highly recommend anyone to take her on as their Dr. Very satisfied all the way around.

Dr. Waldman is wonderful! When I came to see her, she was my last hope. She listens to what my personal goals are and then comes up with a plan to help me achieve them. She is kind and compassionate. I highly recommend this Doctor.

Awful
I saw Dr. Waldman late June early July 2023 due to testing ANA positive and being referred to a rheumatologist. I had more blood drawn at my appt. I never heard back and after 3 weeks I had to call to check on my results. I was told “oh you are fine” we don’t need to see you… during my visit she was disinterested and basically blew me off. Fast forward to now, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and other hormone issues and will need to start meds. I could be in a much better place now if she would have taken me seriously. I highly recommend not seeing her and find a dr who cares and WILL help you. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Excellent Physician
Takes time to listen. I have had excellent communication with Dr Waldman. Very down to earth. Explains her thought process clearly. I am in the medical field and often do not reveal that on first visit. I have had nothing but a great experience. The Unity call center is very difficult to get thru to but that us not the Dr's fault. Rheumatology is trial and error so to speak. What works for one may not work for others. If you don't understand that you may have unrealistic expectations.

Terrible listener and ZERO positive results
Dr Waldman is a poor listener! She insisted that I had four symptoms . Kept increasing my meds, multiple medications with utterly no positive results. When I tried to explain my lack of results based on her diagnosis I was talked over and she continued to head down the same path. She may know medicine but she’s an awful diagnostician. I would not recommend her as a doctor great lady but incapable of thinking outside the box!

Tried to get an appointment for 2 months without success. Unprofessional and rude office staff. Dr will not accept a hard copy of a referral and has zero interest in troubleshooting issues with electronic transmission.

Disappointment
I have had joint and bone issues for many years and have seen several doctors. I have had 7 orthopedic surgeries, many other procedures, and have moderate to severe arthritis in MANY joints. My symptoms have worsened recently. I waited for an appointment with Dr. Waldman for months hoping that she could find a cause for all of these many problems. I gathered past imaging CDs and records to take to my appointment. At my appointment I discovered that it was not possible for her to view the CDs! She did a brief exam snd ordered several blood tests. I got the results online. Most tests were negative but not all. That was over 2 weeks ago. I never heard from the Dr. Waldman regarding the labs and the abnormal results. She did not help me.

Very poor communication. My treatment was delayed due to their lack of contacting me and did not even return 3 calls that i made to her. First excuse was “the person who does that is no longer here, but we will have Dr Waldman call you”, but then no return call. Then on my next call “we are having computer issues and can’t get your lab results”, which were drawn a week prior and even though I got the results myself from the lab, the day after having them drawn. Again I asked for Dr to return my call, but no return call. I found the doctor to lack concern for my treatment. Another excuse given to me was, “we are very backed up”, and she only works 3 days a week.

Dr. Waldman is one of the fiercest advocates I've ever met for her patients. She listens. She also cares. She spent weeks sorting out issues with the insurance to get me the medication I need and she is always kind, compassionate, and thoughtful.

I have been using Dr. Rachel Waldman for over a year, and she always takes the time to answer any questions or concerns I have. I suffer with Osteoarthritis and flare ups sometimes come on very quickly, and have never had an issue being seen promptly when this has happened. The staff, likewise, has been compassionate and responsive whenever I have had an issue.

I have been a patient of Dr. Waldman's for many years. She is a wonderful listener. After going to many male Rheumatologists and being frustrated by their lack of listening, judgmental, narrow minded views. When she started practicing I was elated to find her and to finally get my RA under control. I am a medical professional and find her to be exceptional. She is currently out of my network and I still chose to go to her, even though I pay out of pocket for each visit. She is worth it!

I did not feel that Dr. Waldman listened to my concerns attentively. She was typing away and said "uh-huh" at least 50 times while I was talking. I could not finish a complete sentence without her saying ."uh-huh" every other word that I said. It was very distracting and made me extremely uncomfortable. I will not be following up and am irritated that I wasted money to see her.
