Her terrible patient assessment. I had to 'prompt' her to check my wife's lung sounds despite the fact we were being seen for shortness of breath. She failed to perform a flu, step or Covid test despite being in the middle of flu season. Her diagnosis of allergies and prescription of Dexamethasone along with OTC Pseudoephedrin. Two days our PCP immediately performed flu, strep and covid screens. 10 minutes later we learned my wife was positive for Strep A. By this time, tho, believing she had allergies, we had been in contact with our grandchildren. 5 days later my grandson, daughter-in-law, and both her parents tested positive for Strep A. Nice bedside manner, tho.
