Good Doctor, Ineffective Staff and Process
Telehealth
She’s very knowledgeable and seems to have a strong understanding of pharmacology. The regimen she prescribed has been working well for me. However, I was supposed to have a follow-up appointment six weeks after my last visit. When I realized eight weeks had passed, I called, thinking I may have misunderstood the timeframe and wanted to check on my appointment. It turned out that a follow-up was never scheduled, and by the time I called, the earliest available appointment was another eight weeks out.Additionally, I’ve called four times in the past week to refill an important medication that ran out a few days ago, but I still haven’t received my prescription or even a call back. She’s very intelligent, but this level of inconsistency isn’t ideal for someone managing mental health conditions who relies on timely refills. I’m considering finding another provider. Also, as others have mentioned, it would be nice if appointments didn’t feel rushed.

Incompetent Staff
I was a previous patient of Dr. Rachel Rohaidy a few years ago and I have been trying to schedule an appointment for the past 3 weeks to no avail. I was told the only person that has access to her calendar is Scarlett and they do not have a back up person. I have left several messages for Scarlett and she never returned my calls. When I called daily I was transferred to different office staff and I finally was able to speak to Emily who was the only person there that was helpful and she informed me she spoke to the manager Amanda who supposedly spoke to Dr. Rohaidy and was told they would call me the following day with an appointment. Needless to say, no one called me back. Dr. Rohaidy’s office staff is terrible! They never follow up and try to pacify you by pretending they care. I never experienced such incompetence and lack of compassion in the past. The practice ran smoothly back then, unlike now.

Dissatisfied with level of care received
The appointment was rushed, Dr. Rohaidy was late multiple times, and I didn’t feel Dr. Rohaidy was qualified compared to other doctors. I do not recommend seeing this doctor.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rohaidy’s for 4 years now. We met when I was in a state of severe depression. She gave me hope and assurance that I would feel better soon with her treatment plan and she was right. She is compassionate, a great listener, truly dedicated to her patients and very smart. You will not feel judged by her. Stays up to date on new medications and therapy options. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Rohaidy saw me as a new patient in a timely manner. She spent ample time with me getting to the root of my issues. Unbeknown to me, Dr. Rohaidy recognized concerns I had and placed me on the right path towards a better version of myself. Her medication choice has improved my attention to detail and performance at work to the point where I was recognized for my successful achievements! Additionally, she is readily available at all times through Telehealth if I needed her services in an instant. I would highly recommend her services to anyone in the community looking for an excellent psychiatrist.

Dr. Rohaidy took the time to listen to my mother, she understood our concerns and really takes all of what we say into account. There are not many who would listen as she does. She is very supportive and a great doctor

She's a good psychiatrist (her medication regimens have been very effective for me); however, she doesn't spend enough time with you. My appointments are usually 5 minutes or less, which makes me feel like she's brushing my concerns off. She is nice, though.

Dr Rohaidy is pleasant enough however when in an appointment with her it is like getting blood from a stone, it seems like she just want the visit to end to get to the next patient. I find I have to ask 100 questions to get any info from her. It’s impossible to get through to her during a crisis. I feel I’m in a worse situation after being a patient of hers. I feel she is not very empathetic and does not really care about how you are doing leaving 6 weeks between contact when in a terrible mental situation is not ok in my opinion. I will be seeking out a new psychiatrist who will give me more tailored care and listen to my concerns.

My experience with Dr. Rohaidy and her staff was extremely disappointing and disturbing. On 4 different occasions, I called her office to ask her a question and the person who answered the phone not only prevented me from speaking with her, she proceeded to give me medical advice and even suggest the dosage for a particular medication! I also called several times to make a follow-up appointment and was told they would get back to me to schedule but never did. Dr. Rohaidy never even bothered to call back to check on my condition. I definitely would not recommend this doctor!
