Competent and compassionate
Dr. Perez-Franco was the anesthesiologist at a recent abdominal surgery I had. She stopped into the Recovery Room (unheard of for an anesthesiologist, in my experience) to inform me of a potential surgical complication. The surgeon did not mention this complication, but it was picked up on a heart monitor. I thank Dr. Perez- Franco for alerting me to check for this: this was "above and beyond" normal care.

Dr Perez popped in right before surgery and went over everything with me. Felt pretty confident I would wake up after it was all over.
