Compassionate listener and skilled diagnostician
Dr. Kermen is a compassionate listener and invested time in assessing all of my issues. She clearly communicated her prognosis of my health issues, and she articulated different treatment options, ensuring that I was aligned with the path forward. It was a very pleasant experience, and I feel like I am more knowledgeable about my conditions and how to work toward resolving them.

Archetype example of what a doctor should be. Outstanding diagnostician with the ability to think outside the box. Dr. Kermen listens first then discusses and explains best options. Calm demeanor and caring. Wouldn't be where I am today without her treatment.

One time I missed an appointment because I was septic and in the hospital. The next visit, she was less than empathetic to say the least. Said that I should’ve missed the appointment and did not care that I was fighting for my life in the hospital. She was also rude on several other occasions. Do not go to her.

0 stars if possible, I was "assigned" to Dr. Kermen after my regular pain doctor left NS. I have chronic pain after botched arm surgery more than 10 years ago, am totally disabled and unable to work. Her Rx for my pain mgmt: swimming and diet. Cant move arm, so cant swim. Never looked at my arm, never looked at my prev doctor's diagnosis or treatment plan. I waited 3 months for this appt, what a total waste of everyone's time. Why is this doctor seeing pain patients?
