Dr. Rachel Chua, MD

The care I receive from Dr. Chua is exceptional. When she enters my exam room, she sits down and listens attentively to my concerns. I have her undivided attention, and I do not feel rushed. Some doctors stand giving the illusion they are rushed, and you are just one patient in a busy day of seeing many. Not with Dr. Chua. She is very caring and attentive. I can discuss anything with her without judgement. She understands her patients, and the importance of providing excellent patient care. She is, of course, very knowledgeable in her field. She stays abreast of the latest treatment options and diagnostic testing. I trust her 100% with my healthcare. Her staff is very caring as well. I 100% recommend her as your OB/GYN.

Over the last two years, I have consistently had a great experience with the staff and Dr. Chua. They have watched me cry over difficult conversations, never judged, and helped me to resolve many issues. Being a woman is hard, but their team gave me the confidence in my health and a zeal to live because I knew Dr. Chua would do everything in her power to make sure I was ok. I have seen many doctors and she is definitely a person who believes in what she does and is called to serve and heal woman. Dr. Chua will do everything to help you and if she can't she will find the specialist who can. I am so grateful and thankful to call her my doctor. Great Team!!!

Very disappointing she’s very washy with patients do not have a genuine attitude or concerns for patients that’s trying to conceive I highly DO NOT recommend her

MOFFETT since 1985, along w/being the HIGHEST most reputable GYN and family man, JOHN F. MOFFETT! Most importantly, JOHN F. MOFFETT, MD, GYN, made it on his OWN being a self made man/doctor! JOHN F. Dr. Chua is amazing! After having baby #2 with a midwife, I had really high expectations for the level of care that should be given by an OB/GYN. After moving here, I researched many doctors in the Lake Charles area before scheduling an appointment with Dr. Chua. I immediately fell in love with her as a care provider. She is extremely thorough, answers all questions, and truly listens to her patients. I HIGHLY recommend. I only wish she delivered babies as well.

Dr. Chua has been my doctor for many years! When my three daughters were old enough to need a OB/GYN, I was thrilled they were able to see her! They also love her! There is not enough space here to write all the nice things I could say about her!!! We all love her!!
