Wait time before seated in the office was short. Intake was thorough and courteous. Dr Careccia entrance was congenial and professional. Examination was thorough and answered all my questions. She found two lesions, one that treated by excision for biopsy the other by cryotherapy. Results will be available in a few weeks. Dr Careccia emphasized calling if I have any concerns. I’m to be seen in six months for follow up.

I have been going to Florida Medical for a little over one year. My husband also has been seen by Dr. Careccia for treatment for skin cancer. Dr. Careccia also did minor surgery to remove a cancerous growth on my back and I can honestly say I experienced no pain or discomfort after the surgery and I can barely see a scar. However, most of my appointments have been with Heather Leto and I am so grateful that my husband referred me to them. I have had some facial treatments done by Heather and she is outstanding. The first time I met her and spoke with her, I knew I had finally found someone who is dedicated to her work, extremely informative and an expert at what she does. I have recommended all my friends and family to this dermatology clinic. They are fantastic.

I've been a patient for a few yrs and recommend her highly. Some of the best doctors are not the best in bedside manners especially on a busy day. I was prompted to include in my review a reply to a one star review by a person who had a whole body examine for melanoma. Complaining of the doctor starting with the feet and working upward being possibly not hygienic, that may seem unconventional, but I have gotten it done the other way around by another doc who forgot to finish the rest of my body! I have this to say: Did you go to this appointment with unclean feet or other parts of your body? If you wore flip flops after a few hours of running around and then went to the appointment I would say shame on you! Any doctor appointment expects you to have the courtesy and sense to be freshly bathed without perfumes or makeup in some instances, in order for the doctor to be able to judge your condition without those things interfering. And if you were, then you had nothing to worry about.

Dr. Careccia's staff has treated three members of our family, including my 100 year old mother-in-law. We are very grateful for their skilled, thorough, patient diagnosis and treatment of our skin ailments. Heather Leto, in particular, exhibits such high level nursing experience and is a great mentor for her medical assistant, Brianna. We will miss Brianna, as she heads off to medical school. Our family is pleased to recommend Dr. Careccia's dermatology office to anyone with skin concerns.

Heather, Dr. Careccia’s nurse, examined lesions prior to removal and determined they were benign. Brianna, Heather’s assistant, also performed extremely well with pre- examine questioning and post-treatment procedures and information.

Dr Carreccia is a true professional. This doctor's mission is to ensure that you stay healthy. Dr C. is always on the lookout for your best health and well being. She tells it like its is, honest but understanding and with good advice, guidance and support for your long term health. Dr C is very through, doesn't t miss anything, which probably will save your life at some point!. Her staff is friendly and efficient, they don t miss a beat. I highly recommend this doctor for all your needs in this area.

Dr. Careccia was professional and very thorough in her explanation of a melanoma lesion on my upper back. When she removed the lesion my anxiety was lessened due to her caring and friendly attitude. She is very skilled in surgical procedures as demonstrated by the small and unnoticeable scar. I highly recommend her.

If Dr. Careccia performs a full body dermatology exam on you, be sure to tell her face first, then feet! NOT the other way around, as was done to me. After handling my toes and feet, she put her hands all over my face to check for abnormalities. One only wonders if she bothered to wash her hands before seeing the next patient. This woman is not a practitioner of patient-centered care.

Dr. Careccia is the best dermatologist I have been to. I was diagnosed with melanoma a week before I moved to Florida in 2015. I came to see her about 6 months after I moved here. She was very thorough with my exam and made me feel very comfortable. Anything new on me she takes off. Even if to her it looks benign, because of my melanoma history, she takes it off. I feel like it is mostly to ease my mind but that's okay with me. Her staff is amazing and always so friendly. I highly recommend her!

I went in for a black legion on my genital area that looked like cancer from all the info I gathered on the internet(rapid growth, a large size, uneven borders, uneven colors). Dr Rachel Careccia looked at it and told me she thought it was a mole and that I shouldn't worry about it, or to watch to see if it grows in 2-3 months. I told her I have been watching it for a year, its been growing rapidly, and I just want it removed. She said ok she couldn't remove it at that moment and I would have to
