Good Listener!
I had my first visit with Dr. Jones for an annual physical after not having one for years (Covid, you know the drill). The whole visit went great. There was no extensive waiting, she was friendly and personable, and she actively engaged with me. She not only listened, but gave me several opportunities to ask questions along the way.

She prescribed medicine to help with my arthritis until I could see a specialist. It’s been over a week and the specialist still hasn’t called. I asked for a refill of the medicine to get me through until the specialist could see me as it has been the only thing that has given me any relief. She now refuses to extend the medicine until I can be seen. Why give 7 days worth to get me to my referral appointment, but when it’s obvious it’s going to take longer, refuse to help?

I do no recommend this doctor to anyone. I took my son to the ER after I was told by one Dr. At a small clinic that my son was dehydrated and there was nothing they could do. Dr. Rachel sent my son home after he had vomited over 15 times. The only thing she gave him was nausea meds , that stopped the vomiting, but it was clear that he was dehydrated. This women clearly needs to go back to school.. if you are referred here please get another doctor when going to Huntsville Hospital in Madison ,Al
