Beware of extra charges by Dr Blake
My wife asked her some general health questions at her annual physical with Dr Blake and was subsequently charged separately for the general questions. I have verbal, via phone call, permission as feb 18, 2025 from primary care partners billing representative to write that they will charge for anything new brought up verbally in an annual physical that wasn’t previously discussed. Expect to be charged significantly if you ask such questions.

Pros: I was terrified about having my first female exam. Dr. Blake was incredibly patient with me - she answered SO MANY questions with kind and down-to-earth answers, explained herself as she was doing her general and breast exam, and was so very gentle during the pelvic exam. She made it so much quicker and easier than I could ever have imagined. Cons: There was a severe lack of communication in the office when I was dealing with a concerning health issue (cancer scare). I know the holidays can be tough, but the office really left me hanging during a scary time.

Dr Blake has been my physician and my husband’s physician for years. She is absolutely wonderful in all areas for us. She is kind, easy to visit with, understanding, and knowledgeable. We travel forty miles to see her and it is always worth our trip. We highly recommend her.

Love Dr Blake. Spends adequate time. Answers all questions. Triage nurse gives off the feeling that she doesn’t care to be bothered.

Love Dr Blake however....more and more issues with the office staff who must be unprepared for the amount of business their office has!!! They made an annual appt for me but failed to tell me. I just happened to call in and they mentioned it. Hmmm...it’s not like I’m difficult to get ahold of. Her nurse is losing her efficiency as well. I may have to soon switch Drs which makes me very sad all because is inept staff!!!

I loved having Dr. Blake as my physician--she's really wonderful and knows her specialities. Her office staff ruined the experience. It may be that management has so narrowed office policies that staff come off as nasty and punitive. A real shame to give up a great doctor because of lousy staff. I recently heard the same from another of her former patients.

Dr. Blake has been my family doctor for the last 10 years. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring - I have seen her for minor as well as serious issues, and she has always been spot on with the diagnosis and treatment.

Horrible, she had the worst manners of any doctor I have ever been to. She had a very negative misconception of me and treated me with hostility. She had an agenda, and stuck to that rather than doing the medicine required for what I would go to her for.
