Dr. Quyen Pham, MD

Dr. Pham was a good listener, highly knowledgable, answered all my questions, had a great attitude, was professional, very sympathetic, respectful, and communicated exceedingly well. In short, 1 of the finest physicians that has ever examined me! 5 stars! Highly recommended!

I was diagnosed with RA 9 years ago. This Dr looked at my hands and said that she didn’t think I had RA. She had my previous medical records and completely disregarded everything in them. I will never return to this Dr. I went to a different Rheumatologist and am back on my meds and feeling better

It is so sad that people become "specialist" only to be dismissive of patients who genuinely need them. She was extremely dismissive of my pain levels, interrupted me when I was trying to answer her questions (not quickly enough I guess), and questioned my diagnosis all together. I went to a nationally renowned rheumy who diagnosed me and put me on a treatment regimine that made me feel like a teenager again! When I told her things, she would say things like "I would like to politely disagree with your last rhuemy"....what??? Labs don't lie; treatments that made me mobile again - results don't lie. It was one of the most confrontational Dr. Appointments I have ever been too, and I still don't quite understand why. After handing her my medical history docs, she thumbed through it, changed 2 meds, asked me what my out of pocket cost was for infusions (I had no idea at the time as we had just switched insurance), and then out the door I went. I will never go back to her again.

Very pleasant but did not really listen or help me with my health concerns. Did not feel she listened to me. Put my heath history in wrong and had no interest in pursuing the source of my pain. Was overcharged for what I felt I received in care. Had documents and test results from previous rheumatologist which she completely dismissed based on me feeling well the day of appointment.

She was polite and gentle. Visit started off good. I didn't feel that my concerns were heard. Positive tests didn't matter. What I was trying to tell her didn't matter. Because my hair wasn't falling out in patches or I didn't have a rash...I didn't matter. She made sure I knew she was the specialist and that she had no meds for me. I didn't want meds. I wanted answers. I disagreed with her "specialist" opinion and was met with oh well...do you have any questions? Not a fit for me.

I do not recommend this Rheumatologist. I'm very dissatisfied with her service. She isn't willing to listen to the patient's concerns nor does she show that she genuinely cares for the patient. She isn't willing to work with the patient to figure out what is wrong. She wrongly diagnosed my mother with fibromyalgia and depression.
