Bad experience
Dr. Le successfully removed my gallbladder, but unfortunately, he did not provide any post-operative care or discharge instructions. I have been left with zero guidance regarding my surgery and what steps to take next. This lack of care is unacceptable, and I had to rely on online research and advice from friends and family. This experience was far from the standard procedure, and Dr. Le's office did not offer any assistance or information before or after the surgery. I strongly advise against choosing this doctor.

He is very unkind and rude attitude to me. He spoke to me in a very eerie voice throughout the treatment and was annoyed at some questions. I was skeptical of the results of the ultrasound and asked for another test request, but I refused if there was no change in the test again. In the end, the gastroenterologist requested a re-examination, and the ultrasound result before was wrong. Can you imagine how incompetent and poor doctor he is? I've never seen a doctor like this before. I don't know what this doctor's skills are, but I think we need to re-study the way he treats patients and the way he speaks. Don't invest your time and money on these poor doctors. There are plenty of general surgeons out there.

My first consultation with Dr. Le was beyond my expectation. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He was patient listening to my concerns. He responded with kindness and thoughtfulness. I am so grateful, so happy to have met him. I am confident i will be treated well here.

Dr. Le's front desk lady asked me for $400 for a cash pay first time visit, I balked and she came back after speaking to the doctor that it would cost $175. I wonder if I was Vietnamese she would have tried to gouge me like that. I'm a 60 yr. old white male. After I obtained insurance, which Dr. Le's office accepted, it was very difficult to get any assistance from his front desk staff to coordinate with my regular doctor to get a referral so Dr. Le could perform the services I needed. I eventually gave up on them and went to another specialist. Dr. Le himself was very pleasant and informative on my first visit but his less than helpful staff killed it for me and him.

Horrible. He walked in mocking me for being what he called a “germaphobe”, quoting the previous doctor. I did ask the doc to wash his hands before putting gloves on, OSHA asks medical staff to wash their hands AFTER seeing patients, ironically you ALSO have to wash your hands an additional time after touching the door, paperwork and whatever else per the CDC because it’s the CDC that protects patients. I have had three non elective surgeries, last two bowel issues were worse and worse, more and more scar tissue. My last experience at a colon rectal doctor left me horrified and I told Dr. Le the man had not only mocked me, but rubbed my gentialia many times after wiping my rectrum, I felt violated and this doctor didn’t care, he only cared that that man said I was a “fine”, a YEAR ago, he made fun of my doctor for recommending me, I need a colonoscopy and have intense pain, daily, THIS MAN doesn’t care. He was on the cell yelling how he was getting out of the office in ten minutes prior

I would appreciate what he has done for me. His new office is clean, comfortable and his workers are always welcoming, hospitable, and helpful. For his professional skills, I would say "great." because he had a difficult successful 5-hour operation on me without any complication 10 months ago. So, I have recommended several patients of colorectal diseases to his consultations.

Dr. Le's staff is completely professional and very polite. The office itself is clean and welcoming, which in this specific area of medicine, is a definite positive. I was seen in a timely fashion, and Dr. Le explained in detail what my circumstances are and what we will do going forward. I would definitely recommend him to other patients with similar problems.

Good bedside manner, did a Laprascopic Appendectomy on me six days ago and I spent four days in the hospital. He visited me everyday I was there, and assured me with a confident look that my post op pain was quite normal. Not being a surgeon myself it would be unfair to actually rate his surgical skills .. but bedside manor goes a long way and Dr. Le wins in this department.

I recently was admitted to orange coast memorial hospital and found out I needed surgery. DR. Qui Le came to see me the next day and did the surgery at 8pm the next day after his other scheduled surgeries. I have never written a review on anything in my life but I have to now. If you need colon or rectal surgery he's your man. Absolutely a fantastic surgeon, compassionate, thorough, and highly skilled in his field.
