Dr. Purushothan Surapaneni, MD

This doctor does not deserve a rating. My mom with dementia was brought to the ER with a head injury tested,treated and admitted. The next day Dr Surapaneni called at 10:14 a.m to advise there was nothing else need done for our mother. I told him that Dr. Reed requested hydration and an IV and my mother pulled it out. I spoke to the nurse at 9:38 a.m. and she advised me that they were trying to get the IV in my mother to get her hydrated. He said no she don’t need it. She can go back to the facility. I advised him again that the ER doctor had ordered the IV for hydration, and my mother pulled it out of her arm. He replied the ER doctor doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I requested to please do what the ER doctor ordered for my mother. He replied that she could go back to her facility, and I said I felt that she would be getting better care at the hospital. Again, he replied, that if I didn’t like the facility where my mother was living that I should have her moved and hung up!

Dr. Surapaneni is kind, thoughtful, caring and takes great care of me.

Dr. Surapaneni is the best doctor I could ask for both of my parents. He is VERY responsive and remembers each patient off the top of his head. He listens, he diagnoses and he follows up. My parents both have critical health issues and I would trust them with no one else. His staff is super friendly as well.

I am a dentist and it might be true that Dr's make bad patients but I trust him 100 %. He has the best diagnostic skills and has that old fashioned family doctor attitude because he remembers everything. He was able to diagnose my problem when no one else could and that was over 10 years ago. My whole family are now patients. Evertone think's that he's the best.
