I can not recommend less. I hung in there for months so I could have him keep signing off on my prescription while I look for someone new, but boy am I glad to end our appts. He’s a nice man sure, but he is 1-3 hours late to EVERY appointment so you will always sit around waiting. Today I had enough, so I called and told the receptionist (who is never friendly) that I had been waiting over 2 hours and needed his call. She tried to reschedule me instead?? I told her I didn’t want to reschedule and she transferred me to him right away. What was he doing all that time if he wasn’t with a patient? He then asked me the same exact questions he always asks me, like where I work and my thoughts on the vaccine. He has serious memory issues because every call I ever had was the exact same conversation (that had nothing to do with my mental health), and the answers appeared brand new to him.

He will rarely ask you about how you're feeling or how the medicine has made you feel, every appointment is a lazy conversation that always leads to him carelessly increasing your dosage for medication no matter what. Other than that he is literally two hours late to every appointment he makes, his secretaries will even tell you that themselves when you make the appointment.

Awful practice, Go elsewhere! Although Dr. Kataria was kind, he is not respectful of patient's time. Every appointment I had, he was at least 2 hours late and with no apology. Furthermore, front office staff is rude and unprofessional. Final straw was when doctor called me back unexpectedly and billed as an appointment. FRAUD. When I called and disputed the billing, the staff member admitted "that was my fault" but I still needed to pay it. His wife, the billing manager, got on the phone and said I should be thankful for his service in my time of need...Note, he called me, at his convenience 4 days later, unexpectedly. I wish I would have read all the negative reviews online before appt. Many previous patients claimed same issues as well. Ultimately, I paid for the appt as its not worth the hassle, but you are as good as your reputation and they are terrible.

He provides services, bills your insurance, and hopefully you get better. But he doesn't really care. I admire that, because I can't help it. He reminds me of aspects of my psyche that I don't like, and that's why I have chose to find someone else. He has decades of experience treating severe cases. He has his own way of doing things, because he's seen some things. He moonlights at Willows, where he works with serious cases and he HATES being there, even more than the patients, and I can't blame him. I think it makes him a better doctor. He doesn't get involved in who he treats, and because of this he is objective, pragmatic, and calculated. The only thing that shakes him is clients using psychiatric terms/concepts and oh boy does he hate it. A few issues with medications. wrong labels, etc, so ask for clarification. I've seen him do great work. Sometimes better care means caring less. He does so much and cares so little, because healthcare is green. Love that insufferable pr|ck.

I have never felt so supported and validated by a psychiatrist in all my 33 years of looking for one I liked. Not only did I feel heard but I felt understood and validated. I felt respected. My search is over. I found my doctor. What a huge relief it is to be in great hands for my medication management. He is worth the wait, he takes his time with each client and each client is the only one he is thinking about when they are in his office, so there may be a bit of a wait, but he is worth it!

Dr. K is the most compassionate Dr. I know!!!! Sometimes i have to wait an hour or so after my appointment time but it is so worth it. I live 50 miles away but he works with me on that. I skype with him every other month or when i am too sick to drive that far. If he ever retires, i will be screwed...LOL

Dr. Kataria has always been a great guy. He listens as well as can put a smile on your face in what may feel like a bad time or day. I recently was able to get insurance and I will make the best of it by continuing to see Dr. Kataria. Had it not been for insurance issues I would have never stopped seeing this Dr.

I drive from Central California, North of Bakersfield to see Dr. Kataria. He is, without a doubt, the best doctor I've seen in my 20 years of seeing psychiatrists. He's much more intuitive, caring and overall, concerned about his patients than most. He will take the time to see you, even if it's over Skype, just to be sure you are doing well.

First time visit to his office. The location is in a housing area where I had to go into an alley, passing a street person rummaging in the trash. Their were security doors on all of the doors and a boarded up home on one side. There were only approximately 10 parking spots and 6 were taken. I entered the office and was the only one in the waiting room. Good thing or there would not have been parking. Oh, they do not take ATM, debit or credit cards, so bring cash or check or you will not be seen

The Dr's office is unethical and not committed to the well being of the patients but rather revenue making. My wife was under the Dr.s care for 4-5 months. Last year our insurance changed. I contacted the office to find out why they were not scheduling appointments for her. Dimple told me" well your insurance is no good sir. How can we make appointment to see your wife. " I asked why haven't you contacted me or my wife for our new insurance information??? I provided the new health plan

My name is Robbie and I have been seeing Dr Kataria before his move to Corona off of Main St. Dr. K is very kind and I always feel relaxed after our conversations. Dr Kataria is a doctor that is very well respected and kind. Another positive is his staff who are professional and on top of things. I also have to give Kudos to the Dr's wife who always takes time to greet me in the waiting room, when she's visiting. Dr K is the greatest!??

OMG It's your health. If you truley want a Dr. with integrity, intelligence, sincerity. Sorry my spelling is bad lol. Anyway, five minutes after I met him. I thought. Thank god for a good one. His staff is so kind. Non judgemental. I know that sounds weird to most. I have been in therapy longer than I like to admit. He gives me hope in the purest form, with honesty. So thanks for listening. It's up to you now:) Have a great journey!!!! Rhonda from Corona.
