Dr. Purna Chadalawada, MD

Dr. Chada is seeing my kids for the past 17 years. She knows their health history. She patiently answers all my questions and kids questions too. She is caring and very passionate about taking care of kids.

I just came from the Tri County Pediatrics in my location with my son and another person close to us earlier today; this Doctor was a very rude person. She asked me if I was slow, then asked if something was wrong with me. She then went outside of the room and told another staff member that 'the mother is slow and something is wrong with her.' When she returned, she once again asked if I was slow. At the end of the appointment, she told my relative that she 'is doing a good job of understanding and listening.' She turned to me and said, 'You do not seem to understand; do you understand?' I really feel that this is a highly unprofessional way to act and she really needs home training. I left a message for the Medical Manager there, too. It was very hard to get my son into this clinic, plus a two month wait! Additionally, at the last appointment, she did not answer my question regarding a health concern and she ignores the most important topics.

Dr Chadalawada has been treating my children for the past 13 years. She is compassionate, caring and professional, we are fortunate to have her as our doctor, my children love her.

She is a Disgrace to her profession. She does not know to properly communicate with patients and is VERBALLY ABUSIVE!”. I highly recommend to see any other doctors at Tri-County pediatrics. She is the worst.

She was very rude to me. She didn't answer questions about my son condition and call me back questioning about my child condition even though she is not familiar with condition. I do not want my child to see her anymore. She is rude, unfriendly, and my visit seemed rush.

She is not good communicating. She always made me feel like were just another appointment. At one point she tried to say I was going have to stop breastfeeding...what?!?!?!? I've since changed doctors for my baby.

She is friendly and laid back. I question her medical directions. She prescribed antibiotics that didn't work. I saw her colleague, who said that it isn't generally prescribed anymore because it's ineffective. She told me to not breastfeed my baby on demand; to extend feedings to increase my supply, which is wrong! She changed her prescription instructions when I had questions, and just gave me what I asked about and my dosing instead of being the doctor and explaining things to me!
