Received a termination letter from Dr Raman office manager Chad. Why you ask? I had an appt with Dr Raman a few days ago and there was a new front office personnel by the name of Jeff. It was just a simple med check visit. I have been seeing Dr Raman for 20 years and have NEVER had an issue in her office. Jeff proceeds to check me in and tells me that I owe $100.00. I ask him, what is the insurance contractual allowed amount? He says I don't know, Im not in billing. Now I have worked in medical insurance field for 30 years and I know that because Dr Raman is a contract provider with my insurance company, they can not charge me more then what is allowed. Well needless to say, Jeff thought he knew it all and said sorry, this is how I was trained. Did I get upset? Oh you bet I did and the conversation got very heated. Did we video tape the whole interaction? Sure did. I would love to be able to show Chad and Dr Raman how JEFF - the new front office staff handles her patients. Very poor :(

I have had a terrible experience with Dr. Raman. She does not seem to care about me as her patient minus constantly making me feel guilty for my mental health and economic situation. I also asked about getting help providing information to my employer about me being a high risk (getting COVID). She refused even though on the CDC website explicitly states that I am high risk. I am very disappointed about my experience. I do not recommend her clinic. She was more worried about me scheduling excess appointments with her than my actual wellness.

Her primary interest seems to be weight loss. She's not a good primary care physician and the front office staff is incompetent. They don't know anything about insurance claims, billing, or anything referring to insurance. One day I asked the older woman with short blondish hair a question about insurance. She yelled at me that it wasn't her responsibility to know about insurance, it was mine because it was my insurance provider. The woman treated me with utter disrespect and rudeness all because I asked a question about something that was her job to know. I changed doctors. A few months later I got a bill from the office. When I explained that I shouldn't have been billed, and why, they told me that I had to take care of the problem with the insurance company. Their billing office harassed me about if for over a year and kept telling me I had to take care of the problem or pay them. So I did. They were wrong. No patient should be treated this way.

I left this Dr. about 2 years ago because I was tired of her SHOTGUN way to diagnose my condition and her dismissive way to respond to my questions and concerns. I felt like she didn't believe what I said was troubling me. totally disgusted with her treatment.

I'd say Dr Raman's reply to "GilbertMale inPhoenix,Az" seems sarcastic. And she's trying to make it sound like you need a separate appointment for each issue. That's ridiculous all my past Gyn's were able to actually deal with more than one topic during one appointment. Glad I saw her lame response, I'm looking for a new doctor and it WON'T be her.

I was able to get in same day as a new patient and schedule everything online which I LOVE. I was pleasantly surprised how inviting and aesthetically pleasing the office was. The nurse and Dr. Raman were both friendly and warm and I can't foresee ever having any issues at this practice.

My mom, who is 87, was a patient of Dr. Raman's for several years. Dr. Raman recently decided to become a concierge doctor at a fee of over $1600/year. I wouldn't recommend anyone spend that kind of money to become her patient, just based on the ineptitude of the office staff, who can't seem to get their stories straight, or make correct referrals. Medications went unchecked for long periods, and testing wasn't done. It's not worth the money.

AZ Vista Family is an amazing office. The staff and doctor very good at what they do and treat you with respect. Always helpful and willing to answer any questions I have even if silly. I have been going to this office even before Dr. Raman. She made a lot of nice changes to the office. Very good at what she does and listens to you.

I have been to see Dr. Raman several times. She is not a good doctor, her office wasn't ok, I called to change a RX the doctor gave me from 22 mgs to 15 mgs, not filled yet because of the cost. Linda says the doctor wants to see me.They didn't listen, started arguing with me, such unprofessional behavior. Insisted I had to make another appointment because I hadn't been in for 3 months. I'm not sick but Dr.requested All that was needed was to call Costco and change the mgs. Ramam is a RX pusher

Listened to my symptoms and asked questions related to my answers. Set up tests to explore possible causes. Discussed treatment choices for my osteoporosis. Seems very focused on duties - takes time with me, and concentrates on reason for visit. After hospital visit, helped adjust medication to reduce pain.

I brought up some issues I've been having and she abruptly interrupted me to inform me that we cannot discuss that right now, that I would need to schedule a different appointment at a later time to discuss. These are things I've never brought up to a Dr. or other people for that matter. To her this may be day in day out, but its not easy for the person with these issues to broach the subject, let alone be completely shut down by the one person they expected to trust.
