Excellent Rheumatologist
I’ve been under Dr. Nair’s care since 2016. My RA was not under control despite being on various meds since diagnosis in 2005. She was patient and thorough in her treatment and we tweaked meds until we landed on what is right for me. Finally, my RA is under control!! Thank you for your care Dr. Nair!

Didn't read my husband's chart
My husband was transferred to her when his doctor, who had been treating him for some time, left the practice. I do not believe she read the initial test results because her diagnosis was not consistent with them.

Does not consider patient values
I felt like my values were completely disregarded in her care. Medication that I was on had the potential for severe side effects. In no way did she recommend any alternatives (besides turmeric). She threatened that if I didn't take medication, she would not be able to help me. I now have physicians that consider my personal values and agreed that the pros did not out way the cons of the medication and I'm getting better care because of it (this was after a year of taking her medication). As a medical professional, she was unprofessional, condescending, and I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for medical advice and services. I respect her position and that she truly believed she was giving me the best treatment, however, when a doctor is not WILLING to consider alternative treatments/diagnosis (especially when other doctors could) and also ignore my other symptoms, this is a red flag.

Excellent care!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Nair for many years and have found her to be very knowledgeable, professional, caring, and a good listener. She is always willing to find what works well for my needs. Dr. Nair never rushes my visits. The staff is also courteous and helpful. I’ve never had difficulty in getting an appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Nair.

The absolute worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. Zero empathy. She refused to listen to me or look at any photos of my joint swelling. She literally sat with her arms crossed, leaned up against the wall, acting as if I were inconveniencing her by being there. She misdiagnosed me as a result. Fortunately I sought a second opinion and am being treated appropriately for my RA.

I made an appointment with this Dr and was scheduled 6 weeks out. As I have never been there before, got turned around on my way. I called as soon as I realized it. I would have been 15 minutes late. I had already driven an hour to get there. I talked to the front desk who was extremely irritated but told me to come in. When they let the Dr know, she told them to call me back and cancel the appointment. I have never had a dr get me back on time and they were very very rude.
