Compassionate and Skilled! Dr Namuudu was my husband's hospitalist for 7 days while he was in a transitional care unit at University Hospital after a serious cycling accident. She was compassionate, patient and skilled and I cannot recommend her enough.

She released me from the hospital just 48 hours after I was admitted for anaphylactic shock. I was intubated and on a ventilator. I was a code blue-and they had to do CPR on me. I ended up with a hospital acquired pressure ulcer on my heel and she didn’t even look at it. I don’t think she looked at my medical records either to see how bad my cardiac history was in the first place because any reasonable doctor would not have sent me home so soon. I don’t even remember going home; I was still confused from the sedation they gave me. I spent the next 4 months buying wound care supplies and doing my own dressing changes on that heel, all while hobbling around on crutches and a walker. If you’re ever hospitalized and find out she’s the hospitalist on duty- do yourself a favor and request a different doctor.
