Dr. Priscilla Luke, MD

My cataract surgery was horrible. Luke had to be told by someone in the room, “most drs set axis. at 30” setting axis with laser stigmatism correction is extremely important. Consequently, I still have astigmatism.. I feel axis was set wrong. Shannon the surgery coordinator called me before my surgery and told me if I paid 2700 dollars extra I wouldn’t need glasses or contacts so I paid the money. Now I have to wear glasses n a contact. Cataract and laser surgery went so bad. I had extreme pain for a week n pain for for two more weeks. My eye was swollen n inflamed. Luke sent me to another Dr the day following my surgery. I never even saw Luke on my surgery day. She never saw me before or after. Made many calls to her and Shannon but neither would return my calls. I would steer clear of both of them.

Dr. Priscilla Luke performed cataract surgery on my left eye about a year and a half ago, and the results were superb. The change in my vision was immediate, and it got even better over time. There were no problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend her as a more than competent ophthalmologist. I hated when she left the Upland office. I never got a chance to thank her. Dr. Luke, if you see this post, I would like to thank you for your excellent work and professional services.

I was very happy with Dr. Luke, however was not happy with Azul Eye in Redlands or Shannon the surgery coordinator. I had cataract surgery in March of 2023, after waiting 13 months. I was assured by the surgery coordinator I would b able to schedule my next cataract surgery 1 or 2 months after the first. I wasn’t able to get a second surgery appt for 8 months out. When I called to confirm 2 weeks before the surgery, I was told Dr. Luke was on leave and they were not sure when she would b returning. I had called Shannon, the surgery coordinator, several times with no call back. It will b almost 2 years with no second surgery scheduled as of yet. I’m Really not happy.

The doctor change the schedule all the time, no very consistent. No back doctor, they take a long time to re-schedule appointments. The text messages are only automated, never answer back.

I appreciate her care. She took the time to address my concerns in a way I could understand.I have one concern: my appointment kept getting canceled leaving me to wait several months before being seen.

Dr. Luke's assistant is very nice

I was in and out in less than an hour, but didn't feel rushed or hurried. All my questions were answered.

Dr. Luke messed up my cataract surgery. Since the time I had it, I see halos and starbursts when driving at night. I also see a line in the corner of my eye, like an eyelash that’s ready to fall. I cannot recommend her.

I do not understand the negative comments that others have made Dr. Luke has been a great help in my recovery from two cataract removals. Dr. Luke is a wonderful professional. Dennis Beckner

I have seen Dr. Luke on two occasions and was very pleased with her professionalism and concerns for the patient. She will explain any questions you have in great details so you can understand. I don’t normally do reviews but after reading the negative ones, I had to do this review. I would recommend Dr Luke to anyone without hesitation!

She does not care about how she treats her patients. My son is developmentally delayed and she has no consideration and no patience. I would not recommend her to anyone. I am finding another as soon as possible. She needs to grow up and figure out what type of occupation she wants to work at. Because of her manner and arrogance she needs to find another type of job. She should be grateful that the Lord has blessed her with the capability to help others. The Lord is watching her.

Treated me and my husband like trash, does not adhere to oath taken by Dr's. Would NEVER recommend to anyone. Walked out bewildered by how she became a Dr and do not believe she should be allowed to practice on any living creature. Paid money to see her and she refused to even listen, talk to or examine my husband.

Terrible Dr. Waited weeks to see her. She had another Dr fill in and when I asked if I would be seeing Dr Luke at all he became rude, made comments about possible glaucoma, refused to answer any questions about why he mentioned glaucoma. Didn't explain what he was doing while shoving a crystal in my eyes. Dr Luke finally came, did not introduce herself, said we will get you out of here in a few minutes nothing is wrong with your eyes. Never examined me. Rude, dismissive, waste of time and money.
