Ridiculous. This guy examined my eye (I had a retinal tear). He recommended a procedure and said it needed to be done as soon as possible. After calling numerous times over the course of a month to try to get a date of surgery (which I was never given for this "emergency" procedure), I finally gave up, went to another retina specialist and I had the procedure done.

It took 3 1/2 hours to be seen on a follow up appointment that didn't even require seeing the doctor. Besides, "We're just busy today", after asking why the delay, we were not told anything. Had we been told on arrival that the average wait was over 3 hours, we may have opted to reschedule. Everyone in the waiting rooms was there over 3 hours, not just us. Very unprofessional.

I wouldn’t even give him one star. I was referred to his office a couple of years ago as an emergency. I didn’t know it at the time, but now know I had all the classic symptoms of a detached retina starting to happen. I told him there was a gray curtain closing off more of my vision every day & I was in a panic & scared! He examed me referred me to another doctor, & before I could see him I was blind in that eye & he said it was too late to do anything about it! Please go to another doctor!

Doctor refused to discuss results of prior surgery's, and failed to review observations of another doctor, thru notes provided to him prior to my appointment with him. In review, Dr Samuel's practice resembles an assembly line, with no deviation allowed especially if the patient asks questions which the doctor will declare a waste of his time. To cap all this, today I received a registered letter, from his office, stating that I should seek care from another provider. Seeking a 3rd opinion
