Runnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!
Dr. Thaker treated my 75 year old mother diagnosed with cervical cancer. Instead of offering her a hysterectomy she opted for the more invasive route of chemo and internal radiation. My mother weighed 120lbs if she was lucky. Ultimately my mother suffered a long and horrific treatment which lead to her cancer spreading. My mother traveled 1 hour each way to St. Louis 5 days a week for several months. Once my mother was diagnosed with her lung cancer Dr. Thaker stated she could continue to see my mom. No consultation with a different oncologist that specialized in lung cancer. She starts her on another round of chemo. After several months of that my mom decided to take a break. She went and seen a local oncologist for a different opinion. Mom had told Dr. Thaker that she was consulting with another doctor. Dr. Thaker told my mom that if she seen this other doctor than she would no longer be able to see her. Even for follow ups from her cervical cancer. I would not recommend Dr. Thaker!!

She was professional but extremely cold and non caring, this can not be blamed on her long service for all other doctors visited had the same diagnosis but had compassion, which made everything more bearable.

can I give Zero? I had hysterectomy w/Dr PremalThaker. In 2 preop consults she was attentive and caring. Surgery was rough. I was literally torn up. I go for my 1 follow up & say I do not think I am healing correctly. She tells me I should find a plastic surgeon. 2 preop visits were 20-30 min each. 1 postop visit 10minutes. I felt blindsided. the Dr T at post op was brusque & impatient. Now I need to find Dr to fix damage that Dr T documented in my reports how badly I was torn up during surgery.
