Happy with the Clinic
Clinic visit went well. We loved Savannah, the medical assistant, very polite and nice. Loved Dr Roy. He was very attentive to us and answered all our questions

Do Not Recommend
Dr. Praveen Roy did a procedure on a family member. I was present for support as she is a senior citizen. He was rude, condescending, and did not answer questions. When we tried to ask him questions, he was dismissive. I left in tears because of his complete disregard for patient care, education, and informed consent - in addition to his egregious bedside manner. We reported him to the hospital. Even at the end of the procedure, the nurse responded… “I’ve never seen a surgeon explain so little to a patient.” My loved one deserved better! Our elder population deserves to be treated with dignity. We were extremely disappointed and let down by Dr. Roy’s behavior as his surgery scheduler & front office employees were amazing and kind- usually a reflection of the type of care a patient will receive. In this case, it could NOT have been more opposite.

Very Bad patient Communications
Prescribed a Medication that has VERY BAD SIDE EFFECTS . No relief offered to patient. Promised research. to find a replacement in a week, never happened, would not return calls, just didn't care.

I was medivact from Fairbanks for an emergency surgery and I was so lucky to get Dr. Roy. Intelligent, skilled, wonderful bed side manner, informative and everything I could want in a surgeon. Spoke with us before and after surgery. Excellent explanation of everything both to me and to my husband. Didn't just do surgery and disappear. Highly recommend Dr. Roy!

Wonderful experience [considering the procedure and preparation]. It was over before I knew it, and Dr. Roy was exceptional. He spoke with me before and after the procedure and I felt comfortable with him right away - he has a very nice bedside manner. His nurses and anesthesiologist were also great and very caring. Check-in was smooth and front desk staff was very pleasant and informative. Trepidation turned into comfort within minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Roy!
