Dr. Vankineni is very competent, kind, and professional. He took care of my mother with Dementia, who had a feeding tube and other GI issues. He was very patient with her and understanding. He treated her on a inpatient and outpatient basis. If you are looking for a competent, professional and great bedside manner physician, Dr. Vankineni is the doctor.

He has performed upper GI and colonoscopies for me for years. The doctor has excellent technical and diagnostic skills, explains things in understandable terms, and is approachable, friendly, and thorough. His diagnosis and recommendations ended years of heartburn and pain.

I was assigned to Dr Vankinini after being admitted from the ER. From the very beginning I felt like I was in good hands. Since my diagnosis he has been phenomenal. Good bedside manner, straight to the point and direct about treatment options but has a sense of humor which I need! . He made me feel like we were a team. And that he is not going to go through this alone. . I feel very good about my future with him as my doctor. His nurse Donna is great too! She knows her stuff.

Dr Vankineni did not listen to me or my issue. I am a 22 y/o woman who yes I'm young and my condition isn't life threatening so he made me feel not important. He mocked paperwork for my job and called the questions "stupid" to his nurse. He sticks to the books only. Every possible procedure he could perform he did, but never diagnosed my issue. Because all tests were clear he didn't feel the need to help me anymore but killed my insurance & I'm still miserable daily!

Dr. Vankineni not only took care of me and solved my medical problems; more importantly he took care of my elderly Mom. He is extremely kind and caring, doesn't rush you through an appointment but rather listens.

Dr. Vankineni is a kind and caring doctor. He was patient in describing my condition and the options. He recommended the appropriate tests and a conservative approach. When further intervention was required he recommended a very skilled surgeon and coordinated the procedure. He visited me in the hospital after the surgery and explained in detail what could be expected. I have been using Dr. Vankineni for more than 20 years in Huntsville.

This doctor is very arrogant. He does not show consideration towards his patients & treats them like a number, even checking his watch as they explain their symptoms towards him. If he paid attention, he might actually be able to help.
