Dr. Prasad Chalasani, MD

Very Poor. Spent 4 minutes with my wife then prescribed her Beta Blockers. He gave her zero explaination and no drug paperwork. After reading on her own my wife was very upset to learn the contra-indiacations and side effects. We spent an hour fighting thru his staff to get him to call us. We will continue trying to reach him. Doesn't care.

I'm forever grateful Dr. Chalasani saved my husband's life. After that though, for 14 yrs, he got nothing but long wait times, & 3-5 minutes at best. Aside from the normal cardiac tests, we only got NEEDED additional needed tests & procedures we asked about. One of these tests revealed an 85% blockage. He avoided another heart attack bc of a test we pushed for after complaining for months of fatigue. He'd developed Afib in 2017, but was told "You're on Eloquis & everything's good." We were told next to nothing about his conditions. We left the practice after the 85% blockage issue, & learned there's a lot more going in than we knew. I'm happy people seem to be getting answers in the 5 min. appt time they get, & staff have improved. But I highly recommend a 2nd opinion. We learned more with our new Cardiologist in 1 appt than we did in 14 yrs. Just one sit-down 20 min. conversation was so educational, but that conversation should have happened 14 yrs ago. I hope his staff has improved. I was lucky to get a call back that wasn't rude. Now, I can call the Cardiologist at any time. We've been gone from the practice a year now. It was the hardest, but best decision we ever made. I do know they don't miss us. Heart disease is serious. It deserves more than 5 minutes, & most of that is listening to his rapid, unintelligible dictation. But there's hundreds waiting, every day.

He is patient when you explain your concerns. He is very thorough. The nurses are terrific. The office staff moves fast with paperwork. Considering I was with a previous cardiologist I loved.I was hesitant to start with someone new. Dr. Chalasani was highly recommended.From day 1 I felt at ease, and safe.

Top notch Cardiologist, saved my life and I will be forever thank-ful he was the Dr I was lucky enough to have when I had my heart attack last year. He is the BEST!

The best; he put in two stents (in May 2023) that were 100 per cent blocked and was cautious to do them 1 day apart since I had just had hip replacement. He is brilliant. My recent appointment was his last of the day and I’m sure he was ready to end his day; it’s amazing how many people he see’s in one day. it was brief and rushed, but I did get my questions/worries answered.

Excellent care. Very knowledgeable and recognized the entire big picture health of a patient and how one thing affects another. Reassuring, not rushed, good follow up. Very busy because He’s good.

Dr. Chalasani is THE BEST and believe me, I know 1st hand what is the Best. Ive had cardiac concerns for over 23 years. When i lived in Ft. Lauderdale I was followed by the head of Cardiology at Broward Hospital. By the time I got to Port St. Lucie i was very well versed in all aspects of heart related problems. Dr. Chalasani relates to each and every patient on an individual basis. He will explain in detail, if that is the patient's need or he will give patients with more knowkedge a little more in depth explaination. He never makes u feel rushed or hurried. Is willing to answer any and all questions. Part of what makes him even better is his office staff. They show genuine concern and are ALWAYS extremely helpful. Again, u are never felt rushed. There is sometimes a little bit of a wait because of some patients needing more time than others, but everyone is given their time with him to have all their questions answered. There is no one else in this area, i would even think to see

DR CHALASANI SAVED MY LIFE BY HIS MEDICIAL CALCULATIONS, STRESS TEST, AND QUICK RESPONSE TO A 93 PERCENT BLOCKAGE THAT WAS THREATING MY LIFE. OF COURSE THE HEART SURGEON AT THE FORT PERCE FL HOSPITAL DID FANTASTIC WORK VIA TRIPLE BY PASS PROCEDURES. THIS SPECIALIST HAS SINCE RETIRED AND WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AS AN EXPERT IN HIS FIELD.

He was on vacation a year ago and his associate Dr. Panchal saved my life as I flatlined during a much needed stent

Extremely rushed. He listens to respond…..rather than listen to hear what his patients have to say Been waiting for a return call regarding a bill….never get a real person. Always a recording. For two months I have left messages…no return calls. Done with them

My husband has been going to Dr. C for over 25 years! Great Dr, I credit him for keeping him alive!

Five stars normally but not today!!Apparently when on vacation no other Dr. Covers for him. This resulted in my wife's surgery being postponed from July 9th to September 10th because theirs no Doctor to read the EKG which is required by the surgeon......That's two more months of bad knee pain. Waiting room is always booked for the doctor's convenience. Doctor will not listen and only wants to run tests for $$$$. When I needed him he failed me. This place is run to maximize profits without concern for all its stakeholders, especially patients. Avoid this practice.

Superb cardiologist. Extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring – I am very thankful that he is my cardiologist.
