Appointment kept getting cancelled by office
I was never actually able to meet the doctor but feel strongly that I need to leave a review for others looking for a new cardiology group. I called to make an initial appt in July and was scheduled for the earliest appt on Sept 9th. In August the office called to say they had to reschedule because the doctor would be out of office. Understandable as doctors are humans also. They gave me the 'next available' which was Oct 16th. HOWEVER on Sept 5th they called AGAIN to tell me they have to reschedule because the doctor will not be there. They did not have anything sooner. Meanwhile my heart is out of rhthm and they just said 'I am sorry about that.'. If you need a cardiologist within 3 to 4 months I would strongly recommend finding a different office as this one may push your appt way out like they did to me. Wonder if anyone else has had this experience. I have United....maybe that is a factor????

Care and attention to detail.
Dr Tummala has performed tests and two surgeries on me. He really made me feel more at ease with his explanation of what was going to happen.

I have been searching for an excellent cardiologist for years and I have finally found him. Dr Tummala is extremely competent, very detailed, and very current with the medical literature! If you are trying to find a caring, smart cardiologist that is not arrogant and is very down to earth, he is your guy! A truly hidden gem!
