Initial Visit
My first visit was met with cautious and anxious thoughts of not knowing if my health and care would be the driving force behind the decision-making process. My layman's knowledge of modern-day medical practices left me at a deficit. So, I had to rely on the professionals to do their job. However, I am informed enough to know that I am my best and most adamant advocate for fair and equitable medical care.

Rude & Horrible Experience
Had an appointment with Dr Jacob ( he had availability and now I know why...) He was rude, short and interrupted me multiple times. Did not care about my concerns or medical history. He berated me throughout the entire appointment and I left in tears. Do not waste your time and become blacklisted from Gastro Florida. Now I can't see any of their other providers thanks to Dr.Jacob and is horrendous behavior.

Great GI office
The appointment scheduling is very efficient. I’ve been to this office 3 times and never had to wait more than just a few minutes to see the doctor. Friendly and professional staff. Dr. Jacobs is personable and explains things well. I was able to get all of my questions answered without feeling rushed.

Bad attitude towards me.
Dunno if the doctor had a bad day, but the doctor had either a grumpy or angry or annoyed attitude towards me. Like he just wanted to rush through his patients as fast as possible and get the day done with. Even when I asked some questions, he responded kinda aggressive or ticked. I would not (or highly unlikely) want to come back to the office if the doctor will treat me the same way again.

Wonderful Doctor
I had a procedure done awhile ago by Dr Jacob I was terrified to have it done. He held my hand and reassured me everything would be fine right before the procedure. It meant so much to me, and helped me get threw it. I had no pain after my procedure, and did not remember it. He is a very caring doctor and person. Highly recommend him.

I will admit I was in a lot of pain and pretty freaked out over my medical issue. Dr. Jacob took his time with me, talked to me like a friend and listened patiently. He truly cares about his patients. After reviewing my information, he immediately took action scheduling a procedure and follow up diagnostic testing. He communicated with me immediately before and after my procedure to discuss his findings. His medical staff is the best. This was my first visit to the practice, and they put me at ease. I highly recommend him. Dr. Jacob is an excellent physician.
