I took my wife and 9 year old daughter to the urgent care today. My wife and daughter were so sick they didn’t even feel like making the trip there. We waited several hours because the charge RN said they had an emergency. It was difficult for them to wait so long. The RN who triaged them did a Covid and flu swab and vital signs then we were back in the lobby. When we finally made it to a room and Dr Patel came in he spent around 2 minutes if that in the room to supposedly assess two patients. My wife was trying to tell him what has been going on and the symptoms of our daughter and herself. Every time she tried to speak he cut her off like he had zero respect for women. Then he hurried out the door and said sorry we had a bad day. He didn’t do any blood work order any tests or even properly assess them. We came to have a doctor help us. We could have went to the local Walgreens to get tested for flu and Covid. My wife was in tears because she has been running a fever for five days sick as a dog with no relief despite already being on antibiotics and having an emergency room trip two days ago. The last thing we needed was a doctor who doesn’t listen or care. He basically is just a script writer. He had no compassion at all.
