Really good surgeon
Start to finish for both my wife and I Dr. Labor and staff were great. Wife had an initial problem that needed to be addressed before we both had cataract removal. Easy, painless, and my distance vision is now 20 10. Dr. Labor answers all questions, is personable, professional and his confidence reassures patients. Facility is clean, nurses very proficient, office staff friendly and efficient. Very positive experience, not one complaint.

The BEST eye care facility
Dr. Labor and his entire staff are caring, knowledgeable, compassionate & strive to provide exceptional service. I had my first cataract surgery and everyone kept me informed and explained every step of the procedure. Dr. Labor introduced himself and made sure i was at ease, & understood the procedure. Dr. Labor’s staff is phenomenal. I will be having my other eye done soon. I also have my dry eye treated at the clinic. Dr. Labor saidI would have a good outcome from the surgery, and he didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend Thank you Eye Consultants of Texas.

Recomendation
My, Experience was from the start to deciding to not use him was like a accelerating process to get you through the exams and paperwork process to sign on the dotted line to get a quick schedule for surgery on cataracts. I never met with Dr. Labor to talk about options on Lenses. However I did speak with his optometrist who said yes you have cataracts at a 2+. The range is from 1 to 8, so I really don't need surgery. However, all they want to do is make money and were going to charge me $11, 688.27 for both eyes Plus they tried to say I was given a discount of $1000.00 for Laser treatment and then added a $1200.00 increase to ask my optometrist for my records which = no discount at all. My advise is Dr. Labor is a great surgeon for eye surgery however they are a well oiled machine to make money and are very expensive. There are plenty of other cataract surgeons in the area that are less expensive and don't run you through the ringer with pre and post op procedures and a consultation th

The best of the best for eye care
Dr. Labor is an amazing surgeon, very skilled, but also very human. He took the time to explain things to me and make sure I was comfortable with everything, as I'm a pretty anxious person by nature. every member of the staff I worked with from diagnosis to surgery was absolute amazing as well. I actually saw his staff for the first time to diagnose an injury from an accident when they found my cataracts, and handled both issues so amazingly. I see better now not only better than I had before the accident, but better than I have most of my life after the cataract removal and lens implants, and they worked so well with my finances and schedule and making sure I got in before the 2023 deductible reset. Dr. Labor is an incredible Dr with an incredible team.

Dr. Labor and his team were fantastic from start to finish during my complicated cataract lens replacement. We used the new rxSight lenses designed for people like me who had RK earlier in our lives. Dr. Labor invested two hours over three meetings before selecting this lens. He helped me understand all aspects of the surgery: benefits, potential outcomes, and risks. I would not have chosen this procedure without the time he shared with me. His staff was fabulous, too. I will miss my time with Dr. Tran, Jasmine, Randi, Carley, Ally, Meghan, Andrea, and rxSight's representative, Renee. They were highly competent, empathetic, and truly cared about my results. My new vision is beyond expectation. My left eye is 20/15, and my right eye is 20/25 for distance vision, and it is improving. My near vision is tremendous as well, especially my right eye. I walk away from the process not needing glasses. Not bad for a patient with eight cornea incisions from RK in each eye. Well done, Team!

I had cataract surgery done in Nov/Dec 2020 from Dr. Labor . I experienced nothing but excellent service from the first visit I had at his office. Starting with Dr. Tran his assistant, I always felt a sense he was a person who loved his job and wanted the best care for his patients. Dr. Tran is truly a gift to this profession. I never felt nervous or anxious when I saw Dr. Tran because he made you feel very relaxed and comfortable and answered all questions you may have during your visit. I am completely satisfied with the service I have received from Dr. Labor and his staff and will definitely refer my family and friends to him.

I was totally satisfied and I would highly recommend Doctor Labor and all of his staff members after receiving an exceptional and professional service from my cataract, YAG, and Lasik surgeries at his facility. My eye sight for both eyes after completion of these procedures was much better than I could have ever have hoped for. I believe Doctor Labor's extensive background, knowledge, and experience you won't find anywhere else. I would like to take this time to thank Doctor Labor and all of his staff for an unbelievable eye correction experience ending my need of glasses and obtaining a great vision.

Dr Labor and staff are truly amazing This is a very busy medical practice and they all truly do their beat to make sure everyone is taking care of fully And time is spent with you. They will sit and listen to all of your concerns and ease any anxiety you may have. Unlike other Ophthalmic practices where you try to explain your sight or sensation you may have and they just nod their head at you and keep typing or cut you off and move on That doesn't happen at Eye Consultants of Texas You can see it in each one you come into contact with. They are hearing you. Dr Labor is very thorough and requires the best from all of his staff I've seen reviews on the wait time or the total time there But honestly I'd rather wait and know I'm getting the best for my eyes then be rushed through and then wonder if I got the best service These are my eyes and we can't get new ones It's not like any other body part And simply be replaced like a hip etc.... So I hope this helps you

I was very impressed with Dr. Labor's thorough exam process and the time he took to explain everything while making me feel very comfortable about the whole cataract surgery process. His surgery center was cleaner than any hospital I've been in and staff and nurses were exceptional. I consider Dr. Lanier to be an outstanding doctor and have already recommended him to several people and I haven't even had my final check-up yet.

My mother has had a horrible experience with the office staff and she was not appropriately taken care of after surgery. She has overpaid for her patient portion for her surgery and no one will call her back. Dr. Labor if you care about your patients, get an office staff that will take care of your patients.

I had one cataract removed in 2014. I felt extremely comfortable with this doctor the minute he walked into the room. He is very professional yet very courteous. He has always had time to answer any question that I have had. I would and have recommended him to several people. I never had any problems with the surgery and today I have 20/20 vision in that eye. I am now having the other cataract removed and I have complete confidence that I will do just as well with this surgery.
