Very professional and compassionate. Listens to patients and allows patients to participate in their plan of care. No waits for his visits and he allows ample time for questions and relaying test results/ plan of care. Has been my oncologist for 6 years and I am happy with his medical care. Very good bedside mannerism.

1st Oncologist I seen 14yrs ago
He had the hard job of telling me about my CLL Leukemia diagnosis & he was thorough & patient while I tried to digest it all. Long story short I left my job & him but he did predict I was an Intermediate risk & I had 13yrs 8mos of W&W, so he was spot on!!! I see a CLL Specialist now but would love to see him again. That was when doctors were doctors…

Dr. Reid was very thorough, personable, and friendly. He took his time explaining my condition in detail and really put me at ease. I am very glad to find this caring and experienced doctor in my community and wish that all doctors rise to the level of care that he and his center provide.

Dr. Reid has a very pleasant and professional personality. He treated my father for over three years and always pleasant and advocating for his patience. Now after 7 years I came back to him for myself and he is the same and haven't change. Same ethical and caring doctor.

Breast Cancer 6 year survivor! Dr. Reid takes the time to explain things and answers questions. I find his confidence reassuring; he studied at some of the best schools/hospitals in the country. No hesitation in treatment direction. Very thorough exams. I don't mind waiting a bit if he falls behind schedule since I remember days where I needed more of his time.

I was a patient in 2015 prior to my move to NC. I saw Dr. Reid once a month for my infusion and he was very understanding and knowledgeable about my unique condition. Being in NC and the Duke Health Network for same infusions I see the difference with not only with the Dr.'s level of caring but in support functions such as administrative billing. 2 years later I'm still having issues with Duke that rarely happened in RCCA. I wish I could travel back to NJ for infusions!

He does not return calls to his cancer patients.... not good. He had my sister get gene testing then requested our other sister do so also. This was a critical test to decide my sister's cancer treatment. She called him three times over two or three weeks and he NEVER returned her call or discussed the test or her further treatment!!! Unforgivable.
