I've been a patient for more than 10 years for various reasons. He's very helpful. I actually got him to smile on my last visit. He doesn't smile.

THE WORST DOCTOR
I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He is rude and condescending, absolutely berated me for no reason at all and prescribed me medicine I did not need and could cause very grave side affects. My appt was at 3:20pm and I did not see him until around 4:45pm. He came into the room I was in and immediately reprimanded me for what I was wearing and just proceeded to tell me I did not know what I was talking about when speaking about the pain I was in. I left extremely upset, I have never been treated so poorly by anyone, especially a doctor. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR.

Do not recommend
'Personally, I would not recommend him or the office. The wait time is unbelievable. Surgery was performed that I later found out was not necessary for the issue causing the problems. It's now a year and a half later, and still enduring the same pain and have to undergo additional procedures (not with this office). There are also certain ways that I expect doctors to communicate with patients, none of which are disrespect, arrogance and impatience.'

Excellent doctor terrible attitude.
Five or six visits to Dr. Cummings and one surgery. I believe he’s an excellent physician and surgeon who, unfortunately, has a tendency to be extremely rude. My husband refuses to even go with me on appointments.

Ethical Doctor, Great Office Staff
I went to see if I needed surgery and he gave me pros and cons of surgery. Dr. Cummings tried to prevent surgery by putting my finger in splint and wrapping it, took another set of xrays and left decision up to me. I appreciated honesty and no pressure as I was super nervous. If I ever do need surgery I will choose this office and Dr. Everyone was amazingly professional, calming and NICE!! great Dr. and office.

I saw Dr. Cummings yesterday because I was still in pain after a fall Dec. 1st (6 weeks) and was told by POM x-rays that the x-rays they took showed nothing and I was okay. Dr. Cummings found that I did have a broken wrist and laid out a plan to get me feeling better. Wrist brace was placed on me and medication to bring down the inflammation and set up a therapy plan. I have a follow up in 2 weeks but already feel better just knowing what is wrong. Dr Cummings was so nice and caring, I feel very lucky that he is the one my primary Dr. decided to refer me to.

I enjoyed the care I received from Dr. Cummings but his office is another thing. His office is like a factory where you wait with a crowd of people for at least an hour after your appointment time. I was happy with his care when he operated on me but when it came for the follow up visit, anther hour wait before seeing him and having his nurse take out my stitches. A few days after the stitches out I noticed something wrong and after a closer look found 3 stitches that were not removed which I had to remove. So, for my other hand I am going to a different doctor because of the aggravation and time wasted. I called for 2 weeks to have my file transferred leaving messages but never got a return phone call within 24 hours as stated on the answering machine. It's a shame for I liked the Dr. but the aggravation outweighed the positive.

I am really confused about any ratings that suggest Dr. Cummings is anything other than very professional and forthcoming with information about treatment options. I came to him 2 years ago with "trigger finger" on my right hand. We tried a conservative approach as first but it didn't work and then I had surgery. I am so much better without pain in that hand anymore. Now, I have recently started with the same pain in the left hand. My visit this week was again very professional and my options were well explained; we are trying to treat conservatively again but I am very comfortable that whatever the outcome, even if surgery is needed, I am being taken care of by a very well trained and professional doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Cummings.

The worst Dr I ever had. He’s very condescending and had a really nasty attitude when I was asking him questions regarding my hand injury. And we got into a heated discussed I tried to just bring the air in the room back down by saying I’m frustrated with my hand situation not with you, he turns to me and says “ well don’t take it out on me I didn’t do” . I was completely shocked how UNPROFESSIONAL he was.

My husband recently had surgery with Dr Cummings. I used to work in the medical field and was apprehensive at first due to some of the reviews I read. But thank God we went through the surgery with him. He was super knowledgable, nice, patient and detail oriented. We recommend him 100%. If any of my family members or friends need surgery he is the one performing it. THANKS Dr Cummings.

I would not recommend Dr. Cummings to anyone. My last visit with him, i went in there for my right arm because of my pain level. He started yelling at me. First and foremost I'm the patient he's the doctor. Everybody handles pain differently. I left the office very upset. No patient should go through that. Very unprofessional. - Lisa Block
