Dr Bell performed knee replacement surgery on both knees over the last year. I am very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend Dr Bell for Knee replacement.

From my first consultation through post op total right hip replacement Dr Bell has always taken the time to explain, share all info and asks if any questions or concerns during every visit. Dr Bell is a wonderful caring doctor that truly listens to your concerns. I went to him for a consultation on my right hip from pain I had been in for 2 years. He determined that I was a good candidate for hip replacement surgery. I was nervous about having surgery, but I am so glad I made the decision to to go ahead with it. I had home health rehab for several weeks and its now been 6 weeks post op and I feel great. Still going to Physical Therapy which I feel has really helped my healing go smoothly.

Dr. Bell and Catherine Are Absolutely FANTASTIC! I suffered for years with a bad hip, repeatedly told by other doctors that it was just "normal aging" or arthritis. Dr. Bell has been my orthopedic surgeon for several years. In that time he has completely replaced both of my knees, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. All the members of his staff were friendly and helpful in their respective jobs. Over the course of my visits, we tried alternatives to surgery, including knee braces. When it became obvious that surgery was the best solution, he showed me the x-rays and models of the actual implants, explaining the procedure and answering all my questions. With appropriate anesthesia, the actual surgeries on each knee were painless, and physical therapy after the surgery has restored my ability to walk without pain. Dr. Bell performs excellent follow-up care, including visits shortly after the surgery and more over several years afterwards, insuring my recovery is on track. I did my research and Dr. Bell stood head and shoulders above the other Orthopedic Surgeons who did hip replacement surgery. I could not be happier as a 73 year old hip replacement patient. Dr. Bell and his staff were great, friendly, informative and efficient! Recovery was amazing - less pain from day one than prior to the surgery. Walker for a week and then a cane for a week! By six weeks activity level greater than before surgery and with no pain! I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Phillip Bell!!!!

Very professional. Thoroughly explained the x-rays that were taken. Compared them to the ones taken at the time of surgery. Ask appropriate questions about hip and pain levels. I had absolutely no pain following surgery.

He lets you know exactly how the knee replacement is done. He answers any questions you have, takes time to meet with you after the surgery to go over your results. I did not have to make multiple calls for prescriptions and equipment everything was done. This is a first class operation.

Dr. Bell did a fantastic job on my hip replacement and I just completed my 1 year follow up and all is good! Dr. Bell goes above and beyond for his patients!

In for surgery and home the same day, up and walking in 3 hours! 1 day after surgery didn’t need pain pills, 2 weeks after surgery I was chipping and putting, 4 weeks I was back playing golf 4-5 days a week. Dr. Bell from JOI was strongly recommended by a coworker for Total Knee Replacement so I chose him to do so. Dr Bell performed my 2 total knee replacement (TKR) surgeries six weeks apart. After18 weeks my right knee almost feels and functions like it did 30 years ago. After 12 weeks my left knee is not far behind. I can now go up and down steps and bleachers without any hesitation. From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, Dr. Bell, Catherine and Team were great. Even the nurse that shaved & scrubbed me before surgery helped make the experience a lot less onerous than I thought it would be. In my follow up visits, Dr. Bell & Team were plugged in to how my Post Op PT was going in case any PT adjustments were needed. Now I know why Dr. Bell was so highly recommended.
