my interactions with this physician have been positive. I am considering surgery but have not yet had it performed. The doctor is straightforward and very confident, all of which I appreciate as a patient. He gives you enough time to ask questions and has asked me if I understood what his recommendations were.

He should not be allowed to practice medicine at all. He was referred to me by my gynecologist, who works with Dr. Barksdale's wife. I read the reviews, but decided to give him the benefit of doubt. He opened me up unnecessarily for a surgery that's commonly done by lazar. Going to Dr. Barksdale was the worst decision of my life.

Dr barksdale was sopposed to lift my badder. He opened me up and the surgery was not performed, or was not in the surgery report. It was the after the Super Bowl so I have no clue if he knew what he was supposed to do. When sewing me back up, he stitched up a benign tumor which got infected. I have to have surgery to get that removed FROM ANOTHER UROLOGIST and also had to have my bladder lifted. Because his incompetence, I had to endure 2 extra surgeries. He’s rude, cocky, and belligerent.
