I fell down the stairs and hurt my foot and ankle in the process. I came to the ER that evening, unable to walk from the pain. As it later turned out, Dr Phillip Andrus misdiagnosed my injury, believing it was a simple sprain whereas a specialist later figured out it could be a fracture. "DR" Andrus demonstrated a cruel and unprofessional bedside manner - laughing openly as I was attempting to use the cane he gave me and showed me the wrong way to use it.
