Dr. Philip Wolfson, MD

I was suffering from a long-term depression, and conventional therapy and my mindfulness practice were not effective anymore. I was resistant to get on a daily dose of anti-depressants. I felt that Ketamine assisted therapy would be a better fit for me. Thankfully, I met with Dr. Wolfson and his treatment saved my life. I was put at ease by his explanations and compassionate understanding of where I was at mentally. So grateful to be my old self again. I already sent 2 other close friends to him, and I can't recommend him enough.

I worked with Dr. Wolfson for psychiatric medication management during which time he asked - on multiple occasions - if I would consider moving to his practice for therapy. I declined these invitations and felt increasingly uncomfortable during our consultations because I felt that he was trying to provide therapy outside of the agreed upon medical services. Dr. Wolfson was non-plussed by my reticence to engage, ultimately telling me to get out of his office one day, saying that I was contemptuous and ungrateful. I would not recommend his practice due to his inability to regulate his behavior in the face of what he seemingly felt was distressing conduct on a patient's part.

I have been seeing Dr. Wolfson for several years for treatment of depression and anxiety related to my work, my family and my diagnosis of metastatic cancer. When I was hospitalized for several weeks, he visited me there, and he also came to my home after my release from the hospital. He is extremely compassionate and insightful and has helped me deal effectively with very serious issues. I trust him completely and rely on his down to earth approach to every day struggles.
