Dr. Philip Mongelluzzo Jr, MD

I for one have had a very bad experience with Dr.M. He is not a caring doctor, doesn't even do physicals the proper way. Doesn't Contact you prompetely about your concerened test results. I found a new doctor, a real one, one who cares and knows his stuff!!

Nearly every office staff member is rude! Ever since they sold to Trinity you can’t ever get a same day appointment or next week appointment. They don’t don’t physical exams on patients until it’s to late. One of the PA is extreme rude I think her name is Sarah McD. Dr M is never there or you can never get an appointment with him ever! They don’t listen to you because you are young. Their own medical assistant have said so before “you are young I am sure they didn’t think you had that issue” honestly don’t waist your time seeing any one here. They bill weeks later instead of just accepting copay on the spot like they have signs up.

Would never reccomend Phil to anyone. He is self centered . His staff is rude and obnoxious. Stand far and clear.

Dr Mongelluzzo is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. He is more preventative medicine oriented rather than just handing out pills. He is the best doctor I have ever had. I highly recommend him

Dr Mongelluzzo andhis office staff are wonderful They make you feel like family and really listen to their patients Always is 100% with diagnosing your condition even if obvious symptoms are not present ! Always a caring family person !!

I have been seeing different doctors, Lung Dr.'s, even sought out numerous General Practitioners' since 2010. I was seeing a doctor from Alliance Medical Group out of Naugatuck and all they did was push me off to every specialist known to man, shrinks, pain mngmnt, etc.I have countless blood work, all fine. I see him 1x and he literally finds what no one else did. He listens, he is wonderful, caring and I would recommend him to anyone. I have already gotten the rest of my family on board. Best!!

Until Dr. Mongelluzzo changes his business practice I would go somewhere else. Wait times are long. Business manager, Cheryl is not helpful, rude and unprofessional. Dr. doesn't call and they don't do anything until you ask. My dog gets better care from his vet.

Dr mongelluzzo is a professional dr that is caring and competent. Unfortunately most of the office staff is unprofessional especially when making phone inquiries for appointments and general friendliness. Also getting prescription refills is a nightmare in most cases. My wife recently changed to dr mongelluzzo but is not likely to return due to her experience with staff while attempting to make an appointment. Lastly attempts to get Dr to return calls to discuss situation seem impossible

Wait time ridiculous Doctors care endangering Staff ok will never go back

I use to go to Dr. Rosenthal on Meriden road. Before finding doctor mongelluzo Jr. I am very pleased with the doctor...he is a very smart man and his skill is superior to doctor rosenthalls. I feel better taken care of and when leaving his office I have piece of mind that I'm being well advised. I have walked into his office very concerned and somewhat depressed about current medical issues with my health. After leaving im a new man. I am proud to say I have a good doctor in Dr. Mongelluzo jr.
