Dr. Delio held off his vacation in order to address my case. Don't expect special treatment by any means, but he has Heart! Additionally, refuses to make false promises and tells it like it is. Highly recommended.

Unicorn Neurologist
Dr. Delio is the best neuro in town. He's rare in that he's intelligent, he listens, knowledgeable in various pain conditions, respectful, no ego, assertive. I've had chronic neck and head pain for 15 years and have seen my fair share of doctors and other medical professionals. Dr. Delio is a unicorn. He doesn't treat you like a number, he's quick and assertive and does not make you feel like you are crazy, for one, or below him like many other doctors are known to do with chronic pain patients. Highly recommend.

Not the Doctor for Me
Dr. Delio was recommended to me by a friend after I had brain surgery. I waited nearly six months for an appointment with Dr. Delio, and when I finally met him I was shocked by his demeanor. He was extremely disheveled, barely listened to me and dismissed most of my symptoms. The appointment consisted of him offering me a sample of pain medications before quickly ushering me out the door. Maybe he was having an off day, but something about this doctor didn’t sit well with me and I will not be going back. Lacks sympathy and doesn’t listen.

He is a wonderful person and doctor.
He really listens to me and to my husband. He has my husband on two medications which may slow the progression of dementia. He is sensitive in the way he deals with my husband. I recommend him!!! He's very busy and you have to wait for an appointment.

Stays at a patients side as long as it takes
Dr. Delio interrupted his honeymoon as soon as he learned of my near death crash with an SUV on my motorcycle. He has done everything in his power to help me since that day in 2006

I have been seeing Dr. Delio since 2010. I received an on the job Mild Traumatic Brain Injury in Oct. of 2008. I could not find a neurologist who was a DOL-OWCP provider to accept a federal injury client. He was not a provider either, but after hearing all that I had gone through and seeing the level of injury I sustained, he did not turn me away either. Its has been 11 years now, and I even moved 450 miles away, but he continues to see me once a year to fill out the required government paperwork. He has been my guardian angel.

Dr. Delio has given me quality of my life back! I am so amazed by his professionalism, his attentiveness to my needs, his compassion and his bedside manner. He truly cares about his patients. He encouraged me when I was at my lowest point from pain and feeling suicidal from hopelessness. This review is coming from someone who has dealt with specialized doctors for 20 plus years. If you need anyone to address your pain, not try to dope you up on pain meds and take you seriously then go see this doctor! As a result, I no longer take any pain medication which is a miracle in itself thanks to him.

Dr. Delio is a wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable neurologist. He has helped my daughter with a debilitating chronic migraine problem that stumped a number of other physicians. He is patient, a good listener, and explains medical matters in terms even my 12-year old daughter can understand. Despite his extremely busy schedule, Dr. Delio always returns my phone calls on the same day if we have questions or concerns between appointments. I would give him 10 stars if I could!
