Dr Brazio and Bita really listens to my concerns and answer my questions in a way I can understand. Dr Brazio goes over risks, benefits and other topics when proposing treatment - he shows genuine concern and interest in the patient's well-being and recovery compared to other doctors and surgeon that I have been seeing since the incident which landed me at Cedars. Dr Brazio has handled most, if not all, of my surgeries and understands my case more than any other care provider. Bita has taken on my case with Dr Brazio since the initial consult so I trust their advice and medical opinions. Dr. Brazio cleaned a wound and created a flap that eliminated 3 years of daily antibiotic infusions, hyperbaric chamber visits and wound care appointments 7 days a week for almost 3 years. I had been put in a very distraught position by the back office help of another surgeon and Dr Brazio took the time to discuss the matter with me which definitely brought my stress level down which is extremely important when one is facing the surgery I am facing

Dr. Brazio helped to saved my foot, so I would always recommend his skillset to anyone who needed it. His demeanor towards me, and the way I felt bad anytime I met with him still upsets me. The last visit, his treatment of me trickled down to the way the nurse cared for me. He is a skilled trauma plastic surgeon, and no one will doubt that, but his " bed side manner" could use some work. My feelings are always hurt when he deals with me.

The doctor did not explain any after care information. I asked one question and he responded but I had more questions once I got home. It would be helpful to have a leave behind or paperwork explaining after care.

He listened only long enough to then inform me that he made a plan for the procedure, and was not gonna sway from it for any reason at all. Also, in a seven minute conversation, he mentioned my BMI three or four times by the end I felt that his attitude showed that I should be lucky that he's willing to operate on me
