Osteoporosis Center overcharges for Bone Density
Beware - Dr. Weissman's office will overcharge above and beyond your EOB patient responsibility for Bone Density testing. It is impossible to get them to either refund an overpayment, or if you avoid the overpayment at the time of visit, they will bill you incessantly, even if you call about it. The billing person says she will investigate and call you back. Don't hold your breath.

He was recommended by my primary physician, and I have seen him via telemedicine four times. Reaching his office and making appointments is a nightmare and he has proven no better. He does not seem interested in what you think or have to say and sort of preaches down to you. Follow up is terrible as I am still waiting for a prescription he promised the last time I consulted with him, over two months ago. His office did not follow up on my request to get the prescription from him at all, after promising they would. I will be going to another endocrinologist for sure.

Dr. Weissman himself was very courteous and thorough when discussing care of plan, however his staff was despicable. I was over charged for my copayment and immediately raised concerns that were blantanly ignored to the extremity of involving my ins, the lady in check out was rude- cussing, eating and rolling her eyes the entire time, I even got the office manager involved- Cecilia DO NOT go to her for your concerns because she’s just as bad if not worse than her employees by blowing you off

Good doctor but because of his staff it makes it harder to recommend him. They are unprofessional, rude and and behave as if they hate their jobs. I took a day off from my job to do my lab testing at Quest. Dr. Weissman's staff denied me a hardcopy of my lab work because they will send it to Quest. Come to find out that they never did I waited from: 7am to 9am when they open the Dr's office but they were useless and rude. They said the lady who does that job is off call back tomorrow.

I would give him negative five stars if I could because of his office staff. They are unprofessional and behave as if they hate their job. The wait is unbearably long. I could deal with the doctor's blandness towards his patients if I didn't also have to deal with his rude office staff.
