Years ago I went to OAM GR looking for a surgeon to do some minor repair, or I thought, on my left shoulder. I met with 2 orthopedic surgeons who each had the same answer. this is not a simple repair, that they did not feel comfortable performing what had to be done, but they knew who should be my surgeon: Dr. Peter Theut. I was a fan of his the moment I met him. He has a very relaxed attitude that puts one at ease. He explains things thoroughly in layman’s terms, is a good listener who answers all one’s questions and is very professional at all times. He is a very caring physician. Although I was not able to take advantage of his expertise at that time due to other recurring health issues, I found my way back 7 years later and he most graciously welcomed me back and I am most grateful. I have since had him give me a total reverse left shoulder replacement. I am totally overjoyed by the results. His work is true scientific magic.I would highly recommend Dr. Theut to anyone.

Dr Theut is a very caring person. I would recommend him . He did my first surgery then found I needed another. I was just ready to live with it but he is determined to make it better for me. He explained to me what his plan was to have a custom joint made. Next surgery will be soon although he said it won't be 100% I am looking forward to much better living without pain.

Dr. Theut heard me and addressed my concerns. He explained my situation to me in understandable terms (with visual aids) and offered me treatment options with no pressure.

I have seen four different Dr’s at OAM over the years each for a different kind of surgery. My most recent appointment with Dr Theut. A little over a year ago he also performed successful surgery on me. I don’t feel rushed when I’m at my appointments & any questions I have are answered & explained in language that I can understand. I feel comfortable being able to come to one location for all of my bone health issues. I have & will continue to recommend your after hours care to people. It’s less expensive than going to ER or another urgent care only to end up being sent for an orthopedic doctor anyway.

I visited this office for a 2nd opinion. Prompt, efficient, knowledgeable. So much so that, regardless of the 1:30 drive, this office, specifically Dr. Theut, will be my surgeon.

Almost time waiting in the room for him. his staff was very thorough and made my experience very enjoyable. he has a great bedside manner explained thoroughly what he thought was going on with my issue. and gave me a good follow up plan with clear expectations and next steps.

Was referred to this Dr for a torn bicep muscle. There is only a 6-8 week window from the time of injury till the window closes and the muscle scars over. Dr. Theut drug out the treatment with unnecessary weeks of physical therapy and submitting an MRI request ordered as a routine request rather than an urgent request further delaying any treatment till the option of repair was no longer an option. I received a copy of the Doctor’s notes and bicep repair wasn’t even listed as a treatment. He just focused on the torn rotator cuff which by his admission, would have healed on its own. I will now have to suffer chronic pain for the rest of my life because of the treatment I DIDN’T receive from this Doctor and OAM
