Best doctor I have had
Dr. Santoro performed my hernia surgery. I had had 3 previous abdominal surgeries,and developed a large(10inch)ventral hernia. Dr. Santoro did a complete abdominal wall reconstruction- open surgery. I am 5 months post op and everything was smooth sailing-blue skies.Couldn't be happier- highly recommend!

Dr Santoro is absolutely the best surgeon I have ever had. He was able to help me after 6 1/2 years of ongoing extreme pain. I went 6 doctors and they all said there nothing wrong. I went to Dr Santoro and he was willing to see what the problem is with out giving me any hope that he could solve it. But he did and he gave my life back. I am a new woman with no pain. I would definitely recommend him.

Not enough words….
This doctor is fabulous. To start- He’s a phenomenal surgeon! Has an Awesome bedside manner, compassionate, delightful sense of humor, actually hears you and explains everything clearly. He answered every question, and with patience. He removed an 11 lb contorted abdominal hernia. His aftercare, in both the OR, and in-patient were wonderful. (Even took a picture of it, like I asked.) LOL. He REALLY does care for his patients. It shows from the initial visit, through the incision, all the way down to your discharge. This plus size girl was left with minimal scarring too. Now THATS talent!!

I just had a robotic hernia surgery with Dr Santoro at the Hernia Center in Wilmington DE. Surgery went well and the staff at Wilmington Hospital were great . No complaints . I would recommend Dr Santoro to anyone in need of this surgery.

Dr Santoro spent about an hour in our consultation fully explaining my situation and the robotic surgery solution. He is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the robotics option. My surgery was very successful and recovery very quick. I recommend him to everyone based on my experience. 5 stars!!
