Excellent Doctor
Having a procedure With Doctor Rienzo. I feel very confident with him since he explained to whole procedure thoroughly and I trust his expertise and qualifications. He explained the problem in my lower disk and what is causing the pinched nerve in easy to understand terms. Dr. Rienzo subscribed a anti-inflammatory for now and my pain is manageable up to my procedure date.

I would never recommend Dr. Rienzo.
He is very callus and couldn’t care less about his patients and their pain. He seems bothered that he even needs to take the time to explain a procedure with you. I had 2 Epidural Injection's for my lower back pain and 1 Nerve Ablation. He never explained that you wouldn’t be sedated during the entire procedure. When I was told at the surgical center that I would be woken up at some point to make sure the needles were in the correct nerves I wasn’t happy. I knew I needed it, so I continued with it. When I saw Dr Rienzo and asked about being woken up, his response was- so you don’t want it done! Of course I did , so I went along with it. My vein collapsed when the anesthesiologist when to inject the anesthesia so she had to find another vein. . While the anesthesiologist was preparing the vein Dr Rienzo already started sticking me with the needles. I never felt such pain and he continued even though I was crying and begging him to stop. After the 6th needle they put me to sleep.

Do Not Go to Him! – Jun 05, 2024

Could care less
2nd visit. Just as just as bad as the first. Spent less than 5 minutes addressing my concerns regarding chronic low back pain after 2 months of PT. Conducted a minimal non inclusive physical exam (my coat was still on). The appointment was basically to prescribe another MRI before further therapy even though one had been done relatively recently through the same facility, and the MRI RX should have been ordered over the phone and completed without having to go to the office and incurring an OV fee just to get a RX. This doctor literally walked out while I was asking about optional therapies- time up- even though no one else was waiting! Next time I will go to a professional.

Don’t Waste Your Time!
From the moment I entered the practice, the front desk staff were unfriendly and “annoyed” (actually rolled her eyes). Waiting area was empty. Walked in 5 minutes past the appointment time, and she had to consult the Dr. Rienzo if he would see me. Comes back out and says “Nope, reschedule”. I am appalled at a practice this large, that they treat patients like this. I do NOT recommend this practice or doctor one bit!

Little concern for patient
I had 2 previous visits and they were both brief and he seemed to have little interest in my pain. The 3rd there was some confusion in appt. time so since he considered me 5 minutes late he refused to see me and I was told to make another appt. Feeling I had little faith in him helping me, I requested to see a different doctor in the practice - and they refused to see me and told me to find another practice. They do not want to insult the other doctor even though I have been a patient for decades.

Avoid Dr Peter Rienzo
I had a 9:20 am appt with Dr Rienzo at the Wall office. At 10:15 I was told the scheduler should never have scheduled my appointment in the timeslot that they did. They even said it was supposed to be at 9:20 PM appointment. Either way, Dr. Rienzo refused to see me and/or fit me in. And it took almost an hour, waiting there to be told this. When I checked in, I paid my $50 co-pay and gave them my MRI CD, which they told me they did process. I still do not have my $50 refund. This is despicable behavior from a doctor and/or any doctors office.

I am 60-years old and very active. Dr. Rienzo was able to see me quickly which was the first plus. I am a new patient of his now and was suffering terribly from strained back muscles, back spasms and a herniated disc. Dr. Rienzo was on time, professional, caring and thorough in my examination. He took the time to listen to me, explained what was going on in my spine and then assured me that his course of therapy that he recommended should alleviate my discomfort, pain and in short time have me back on me feet and free from pain. I had and have total confidence in what he offered. I would recommend Dr. Rienzo if you are otherwise active and now suffering with debilitating back pain that has immobilized you or is keeping you sedentary as mine was. I was unable to stand upright for 2-3 days before seeing him.

First time visiting a spinal specialist doctor. So I was, of course, a bit nervous He was very patient with all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed and he answered all my questions with real words not medical babble. Got my prescription sent quickly to my pharmacy. Would definitely recommend.

If I could give Dr Rienzo 0 stars I would. He gave me a trigger point shot right in his office, no warning of burning or inability to use my arm. Be allergic to local anaesethics, he decided I would have to weather an epidural in a massage chair wide away. Over and over he stuck me with a needles. The pain was excruciating. I was told to toughen up. The tears from my eyes soack the paper on the face ring so much so, it was stuck to my face. He is truly the worst Pain Management Dr BEWARE
