Absolutely great doctor
My mother has Parkinson's disease with dementia. She has been a patient of Dr. O'Carroll for over 15 years. He is always on time for appointments; takes as much time as the patient needs; and encourages patients with horrible conditions. We believe he is a God send and wouldn't take our mother to anyone else! We've always found his staff helpful and efficient as well.

Professionalism
I have recently become a patient of Dr. O'Carroll. His staff is very friendly and eager to help you with your concerns. Dr. O'Carroll met with me and took his time to listen. His clinical approach included labs and tests before he made a diagnosis. He then discussed thoroughly the possible treatments and prognosis. I have faith that I am receiving the best care at this office and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Too many hurdles to jump to get appointment
I am trying to get an appt for my mother who has dementia. I have called three times and was told in not a nice sort of way that I could not make an appt because I had to have a referral and latest labs sent first. I have asked her PCP to do this three times without getting any response from O’Carroll’s office. I am really surprised that Dr. O’Carroll does not read these reviews and make changes to his office procedures and staff. I am done trying to get an appt and am going to find another neurologist.

I was referred to Dr O'Carroll by the Lake Granbury Emergency Room. When I called the office number (at 11:15am Thursday May 13-21 there was only a message to leave name, number, why - then said do not call back and leave another message! As of 1:12pm Tuesday May 18th I have not received call! I just verified the office received the information and returned the call after 2pm but no answer and I did not receive a message. Mute point, Doctor has no openings until July. Needless to say I am looking elsewhere.

My sister went to him for atonic seizure (or drop seizure) loss in muscle tone and have not got a call back on the results. Since then she was in a car accident and now is trying to recover. I'm so upset! He did not follow up and help resolve the problem. Thank God my sister is going to be okay. Not enough doctors and too many patients I'm guessing that they can't keep up. I don't know.... I do not recommend him on what I've experienced.

Dr Peter O'Carroll has the worst office staff and policies. They will not answer office calls; my cardiologist has tried for two days and still couldn’t even get a return curious call. They still have not return any of my calls.
