Dr. Peter McGuire, MD

I have had been struggling with a sinus disease for thirty years and 7 surgeries. I am under the outstanding care of Dr. Peter McGuire and his staff. He is an excellent care provider and surgeon, who always tells is straight up. I could not be in better hands. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he goes the extra yard to be very personal and caring. Every health care provider I have come in contact and who knows Doctor McGuire says the same; great surgeon and person.

Diagnosed with a thyroid tumor. Provided history to staff. McGuire spent 2 minutes in the room and indicated surgery was not needed. Turns out, a few months later, numerous other tumors and possible cancer. Now I need a thyroidectomy -- and I won't be going to McGruire to do it -- nor should you. COMPLETE incompetent.

A nurse in the same building evaluated my medical issue, and then suggested that I get seen by Dr McGuire. As it turned out, Dr McGuire was able to see me immediately, as he had an opening due to other patient appointment cancelation. Dr McGuire diagnosed my problem quickly, and presented me with 2 options. I went along with his preferred treatment option. He put me a bit at ease prior to performing the procedure. Thinking back to that day, I cannot think of anything he could have done better and I was very happy with the outcome.

My daughter saw this doctor after waiting six months for an appt. He was very impatient, very rude and condescending with her. Was told she was wasting his time. He may be a doctor, but that doesn't give him the right to be so rude to his patience. My daughter should have never been charged for this appt as he only spent a whopping two minutes with her. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR OR HAVE YOUR PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR REFER YOU TO HIM!!

Dr Peter McGuire is definitely not a caring or compassionate doctor. He is very rude and has absolutely no empathy for anyone but himself. Waited six months for my appointment only to be treated like I was a waste of his time. Appt lasted less than five minutes but was charged $75.00 for absolutely nothing. Was told very rudely that all my pain and suffering was not his problem, even though my PSP referred me to him. I will never recommend this doctor to anyone!!

I saw this office for a constant " lump " feeling in my throat. They did all the tests and could not find a cause. After three months I went back since the " lump feeling" was almost choking me. When he came in the exam room he told me " I am a surgeon and you are wasting my time" . I left that office. How rude. No one even suggested any options for me to pursue.

Dr McGuire was most of all concerned with my issues and condition from a post operation from having 4 cervical disc replacement. He was thorough with his diagnosis and direction to help me try to get back to normal. He even called me twice from his personal phone and off days to check on me. You couldn’t get better care.

He is attentive and explained in detail my options. He took necessary precautions. He treated me with respect and kindness. He performed my surgery well.

Excellent attention to my problems. Good diagnosis and excellent details to me on what I can do.
