I was referred to Dr Lang by another doctor in his group. I regret ever going, he was an hour late to my first appointment, no apology and apparently didn’t bother to read the chart of the referring doctor. Had no idea what I was there and I had to explain it to him, then he wanted to order lab work the referring doctor had already done. He is difficult and inflexible to schedule appointments with, apparently too busy to give the care you deserve. His staff also appears to be his gate keepers and I doubt he ever receives the messages sent. I would advise passing on this doctor and going elsewhere. I wish that I had never had my colonoscopy with him.

My experience with Dr. Lang was exceptional. He listened carefully and was engaging during my office visit. He communicated well and answered all of my questions. His office staff was very friendly and made sure I had all of the information I needed for my colonoscopy. On procedure day, Dr. Lang was very compassionate and put me at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Lang. He is professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic.

The appointment was rushed and the wait was very long. He came off as arrogant and unprofessional. If you want a gastroenterologist who is considerate of their patients and their time, I would not recommend Dr. Peter Lang.

Dr. Lang is a great doctor! He is very compassionate, I wish he could replace all of my doctors. Granted the wait time could be a bit long, but I would not expect anything less. His office staff are very accommodating when it comes to emergency scheduling as well. Keep up the good work Dr. Lang, I hope you will be in clinic forever :)

Today I had a follow up appointment with Dr. Lang. All went well. He has been taking care of my various G.I. issues for years now. If I'm still here, it must mean that I am pleased with him and appreciate his bedside manners.

He is a wonderful doctor. I would recommend him to anyone who needs to see a GI Specialist. Bed side manners are awesome, the staff is so polite and wonderful. I moved out of town but will not change my Gi doctor. I come back to Houston just for my appointments with Dr. Lang. I don't know what I would do if he stops practicing.

Dr. Lang has communication skills and care for his patient that is remarkable. He takes his time and get every detail and follow up with you. I was in a car accident and he was able to get to the actual problem. I literally thought I was dying due to so much internal discomfort. Today that has all been resolved due to his care and concern. Thank you Dr. Lang for a job well done ????.

Dr. Lang very good dr. My wife and I have been under his care for a few years now. However, please note that the office staff is extremely rude, incompetent, and lazy They just don't understand that their poor patient relation skills affect Dr. lang's and HMC practice for this reason we have chosen to seek a different provider for us, family and friends and anyone I can relate my experience to

My wife had her colonoscopy done in November 2016. To our surprise, Dr. Lang sent the results to an "out of network" lab for review without telling us up front. Despite having insurance, we had to pay several thousands of dollar in lab bills because, again, he sent it to an "out of network" lab. Asked his staff after receiving this huge bill why did they not tell us front, they only said they are sorry. Not going to him anymore.
