Condescending, patronizing and self-important. Den
Hit by a cat I had two ribs broken and a broken sternum. I refused pain medication at urgent care.I was told to follow up with a physician. wthin a week. He was first available. I had my records from the urgent care including my x-rays showing the breaks. He seemed confused as to why I was Annoyed .I told him that I would like pain medication after all as I was having trouble sleeping with the rib pain. He got very cold. Looked at me suspiciously he asked me a series of questions. I suddenly realized that he thought I was a drug seeker! I confronted him with that. I pointed out my x-rays and that he could see every prescription I have taken in last 4 years and none was for pain. I told him to that in fact I had declined pain medication in the urgent care and it was noted in my chart. I said ' if I'm a drug seeker I'm not a very good one because I've declined them repeatedly',Beware this guy. No common sense and no care for patients.

Embarrassment to Modern Medicine
Peter Jungblut seemed aloof, judgmental, condescending, and uninterested in having me as a patient. I didn’t even receive a follow up to my bloodwork, they missed a text entirely, and overall he acted like he was doing me a favor. Incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. There are too many competent doctors in Atlanta to have to deal with this utter nonsense. This is also the kindest review I could give him.

Very thorough and thoughtful--Excellent MD
Dr. Jungblut has been my primary MD for several years. He is always prepared, intelligent, empathetic, and collaborative on treatment options (or no treatment at all). I highly recommend him.

I will never go to them again
I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Jungblut. Not only did their bedside manner leave much to be desired, but there was also a noticeable lack of genuine care or belief in their patients. I felt rushed and the overall lack of empathy in their communication was disheartening. It's crucial for a doctor to not only possess medical expertise but also to genuinely care about and believe in their patients, and unfortunately, that was lacking in my interactions with them.

There should be a 'zero' stars option
He could care less. He makes you feel as though you're wasting his jolly ol' time.

Not the doctor I expected.
I've been going to Dr. Jungblut for many years now. I wouldn't recommend. When you have an immediate or follow-up issue, you are told that you should contact your primary care provider. His office doesn't respond for days when you leave a message needing a response, if they respond at all. (At minimum, the nurse could call back.) When you send a message to the Dr. in My Chart, you're lucky if he gets to responding to you in a week. By then, the issue has either resolved itself or I've gone to Urgent Care for something my PC could have easily responded to. (I've had that happen twice over the years.) When you sign up for your annual physical, its no different then when you come in for a 15 minutes office call, outside of a blood draw. I've become very disappointed but who can I switch to? I had a great Doctor in the state I moved from who had much better bedside care and responsiveness. I felt that they really knew me and my health. Frustratingly, I don't feel that here.

I was doubled billed. Terrible experience
This was one Horrible experience. Not only is this doctor cold and uncaring, he doubled bill me during a "free" preventive/annual exam. He ordered a vitamin D test and because this is not included on the preventive/annual exam, he was able to code it as an external visit BESIDES the annual exam bill. Yes, that is correct a simple Vitamin D blood test will constitute a "separate" visit for this provider. He spent a total of 15 minutes during an "annual" visit, and then he billed $500 for BOTH visits. This is the most unethical thing, I have ever seen from a doctor. I sent him an email regarding the bill a month ago and I have yet to hear back from him.

Impersonal and poor communications skills
I only wished that I would have read some of these reviews prior to my visit. The Wellstar portal makes it sound like he is the best. I am sure they delete the negative reviews. But my horrible experience with this Doctor seems to be very similar to many others. He is cold, impersonal, and with very poor communication skills. I actually sent a message regarding a medication he prescribed and he never got back to me. I basically did not even bother to take it.

Very rushed visits. My impression is that he doesn't believe you about your problem. Doesn't do tests or procedures to discover the true source of your problem, just very quick to play the "let's try every prescription under the sun over the next year and see if anything fixes you".

I cannot recommend this doctor based on his uncomfortable bedside manner. Please go elsewhere if you are looking for someone that seems interested in both your physical and mental wellbeing or if you are looking for someone who uses emotional intuitiveness when getting to know you as a knew patient, as you share personal problems in the hopes that you will get help. I was unable to see any reason to continue disclosing or discussing personal information with him within the first 5-10 minutes of our conversation based on his social and emotional capabilities with me.

I was very disappointed by his lack of emotional intuition and empathy as I was disclosing private and personal information about my mental and physical health and history. I did not feel like his bedside manner suited my personality and would not recommend him for someone wanting to talk about the connection between mental and physical health issues on a basic human to human level.
