By the time I was referred to Dr. Ferrara, I had had some bad doctor experiences. But he explained everything to me, worst and best case, answered all my questions and made both my husband and myself feel a part of the whole process. I would recommend him highly to anyone dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Ferrara was my surgeon to remove skin cancer. He was kind, explained everything in an understandable manner. He was always warm and reassuring. I would most certainly use Dr. Ferrara again. I was my first surgery and he made me feel that I was in good hands.

The office staff were attentive and friendly and the process of scheduling surgery was very easy. Dr Ferrara himself, is attentive and thorough, his dry sense of humor and caring attitude were just what I needed after receiving the dx of malignant melanoma.

Dr. Ferrara was awesome!. Great bedside manners ,patient and explains evert thing in detail. My 17 year old son was very comfortable with Dr Ferrara. I highly recommend Dr Ferrara.

Dr Ferrara performed a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy on me........Procedure went well but far more importantly to me Dr Ferrara met with me before surgery and after (followup visit) to explain in plain terms what was happening , what he was doing and what to expect......That I appreciated most of all

Worst doctor I’ve ever seen or been to. I needed a second opinion it was so bad. He is rude, egotistical and hasn’t practiced oncology in decades. Please stay away

Dr. Ferrara is the kind of doctor we all wish still existed. He's a great listener. A great communicator. Highly skilled & caring! His office is calm but thorough. Through a terribly frightening experience, we were so grateful to have DrFerrara as our surgeon.

Dr. Ferrara is a highly skilled surgeon and such a friendly man. Most doctors have NO bedside manner, but not Dr Ferrara. When I was awaiting my surgery, he introduced himself to my husband - "Hi, I'm Pete and I'm here to take care of your wife". Post op care was a breeze too. It's so easy to talk to him!

Dr. Ferrara is a very rare professional whom I trust to determine the future quality of my life. My office and hospital pre-surgery time with him was cheerful, patient, caring and like a good buddy. His skill, well, the outcome speaks for itself. The aftereffects of my serious hernia surgery only lasted a few days and now, two months later, it's like it never happened. Have utmost confidence.
