Conscientious, considerate, candid
Dr. Peter DeMartino has been my primary care physician for many years now. Whether visiting for a physical or an ailment, he listens attentively and evaluates conditions thoroughly prior to providing knowledgeable guidance. His subdued, reflective demeanor may not be for everyone, though I've always considered him both reassuring and accurate in his diagnoses and I appreciate his contemplative guidance.

terrible experience
He refused to prescribe my medication and never gave me a referral for somewhere that will. He’s very rude and non-professional. These are heavy medications that I get heavily ill without.

Inadequate treatment of back & hip pain
Over the course of several years, he was dismissive of increasing back & hip pain due to undiagnosed osteoarthritis of spine & hip. No diagnostic measures were employed & no intervention considered. Ultimately, I couldn't walk and self-requested referrals to orthopedists showed advanced degeneration of hip & spine requiring surgical correction. With hip replaced & spine repaired, he still showed no interest in my health problems, so I left him and Acton Medical and went elsewhere. I am very satisfied with my choice, but I regret the lack of care I received with Dr. DeMartino and how much my daily life is impacted by what I experienced there.

I have over 25 years of visits with him. Cuts to the chase, if you want good advice go to him. He improved my health by directing me to a healthier lifestyle.

He was in a rush during the entire visit and gave little attention to my concerns. I could tell he just wanted to finish the visit as quickly as possible. He was also very dismissive of my concerns and made me feel as though my questions were ridiculous. At the end, he basically just walked out of the room while I was still wanting more information. I'll never see him again. I'd rather travel to a different city.

Changed my primary care to Dr Dimartino and immediately switched, guy couldn’t be bothered with me, was really rude and in a rush to get me out of the office. Tried to bring up other issues I was having and he was dismissive and said “that was a topic for another day” and that my concerns were “highly unlikely”. If you’re a common person with some heath problems stay as far away as possible from this guy. He walked out the room and I uttered “what a d***”, I’ve never experienced a doctor be so dismissive of issues like IBS, scoliosis & debilitating back pain. If you value you’re heath do not go to Dr Dimartino

If you are an athlete, run marathons, do hot yoga, this is the guy for you. If you are human with flaws, i'd look elsewhere. He is interested in sports injuries and can't be bothered with your mortal self. He has a reputation in this community for driving patients away due to his impatience with those of us who are not in great shape.

Dr DeMartino is on point. He’s been my physician for over 18 years and knows medicine. No fluff. No frills. But cuts to the chase and gets my health questions answered and in a timely fashion. I’d look nowhere else

Dr. Demartino has been my primary care physician for over 10 years. Nice guy. But always seems in a huge rush to complete visit and doesn't really seem to be the best listener.

He seemed annoyed with me from the start. He was rushing, and didn't try to fully understand the cause of my condition. Quickly prescribed an antibiotic, which had no effect after the full course.
