Slipping Rib Diagnosis and Surgery
Dr. Cole was able to diagnose my daughter with slipping rib syndrome, by use of a dynamic ultrasound, after doctoring for more than 5 years for answers. After the diagnosis he performed surgery and gave her her life back. Within a year of surgery she was finally living a pain free life and even back to playing collegiate golf. We could not be happier with the care she received from Dr. Cole!

Dear DR. Cole Jan 2016 I boke my pelvis in 3 places. It was in the top 5% of the worst cases you had ever seen. Your work was superb; the hip joint alignment was perfect when you finished. It has been 5 years since the surgery; no pain no issues. You are the reason I survived. I read similar procedures, what you had to do to during that repair; just amazing. Thank you for my life. Dr. Cole is my hero with a capital H! I had a crushed foot from a car accident with 17 breaks. Thank God the EMT knew to bring me to Regions Hospital. It was a very long recovery, but I never doubted that I would walk again. Yes, I sometimes had to wait a very long time to see him, but I would not consider letting any other doctor touch my foot. He is the best of the best!

I saw Cole for a grade III AC separation. I knew my shoulder was damaged but I didn't know the exact problem. Cole immediately started using abbreviations and talking about treatment options without telling me what the issue was. He never mentioned or explained the grading system. He was extremely pro-surgery and gave me very little info about recovery with or without surgery. Overall, it just felt like he wanted my money and didn't care about my recovery or helping me to understand my injury.

Dr Cole was dismissive of my injury and condition and wouldn't give me a physical exam. Instead he relied only on the x-ray and scan imagery to make his determination. A simple movement check of the bones would have revealed a problem.
