Dr. Peter Carlson, DDS

Dr. Carlson botched my double jaw surgery leaving my face permanently disfigured for life. I consulted with two other much more experienced surgeons who both said revision surgery would most definitely result in a significant amount of further nerve damage. Dr. Carlson took no responsibility for his mistakes and tried to blame it on relapse which I could visually see was false even during the first week of recovery. The other two surgeons I consulted with completely agreed that he botched it and there was indeed no relapse. My orthodontist was also horrified and said it was the worst post-surgery result he had ever seen in his career. I could go into more detail about the multiple lies Dr. Carlson told me and his attempts to gaslight me but I think this will suffice to warn others.

Very professional. Walks you through every step of the process and will answer as many questions you ask. One of the best environments I’ve been in.

My son had his wisdom teeth removed on Friday November 12th, he's a teenager and very nervous. After the surgery was completed I heard someone in the back "yelling loud" my sons name and it scared me to pieces. They said oh we are just trying to wake him up and laughed it off. I didn't think it was funny nor appropriate in a setting like that. After his surgery was over Dr. Carlson didn't speak to me or tell me how the surgery went nor was I notified if his teeth were impacted or what went on during surgery. They did a follow up call yesterday 11/15/21 and i expressed my concerns on the phone. She didn't seem too interested in his issues. Previous experience at his North okc office was amazing and no issues, this was all at the yukon location

Excellent. Am startled that others made comments otherwise. Definitely not the man I know! Love not only Dr. Carlson's work, but also his hard working staff! I regularly recommend him. My implant was a long procedure. Do so enjoy chewing with it now. Thank you to everyone who made that possible.

Dr. Carlson and his staff was extremely efficient and more importantly kind to my 16 year old daughter. This was her first time ever having general anesthesia and she was very nervous. His staff and himself made sure she felt comfortable and explained everything they were doing before she was put to sleep. She had a wonderful experience and this will make any future procedures she may need, not be so scary. Thank you for that.

He never talked to me or my mother after my surgery. Went straight into another surgery. Waited over 30 minutes and I was hurting so we had to leave and get the prescription filled. His nurses said he would call us and he never did. Would not recommend him to other just because of that.

I found Dr. Carlson to be extremely kind, caring and gentle. I had a assessed tooth on a Friday morning. I was in pain all weekend, my dentist was unable to save my tooth and I was referred to Dr. Carlson Monday afternoon. I was really hurting and they got me in the office by 4:30 Monday afternoon and my tooth was pulled that day. I recently had my implant surgery, extremely gentle and my pain has been bearable. He does a great job his staff is friendly and helpful.

Never introduced himself to my husband and I, directed all comments to our 12 year-old daughter who won't remember and isn't really interested. We were asked to arrive 15 minutes early then waited an hour after the schedule surgery time to be called back.
